◆13◆ The darkness in my heart as I walk into the light

Michiyo was lying on her front while watching Disney movies from the comfortable hotel bed. She watched Mulan, The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, and now she's watching The Lion King.

"Hakuna Matata~." She was singing along because it was a fun song. 

"Are you a kid?" Dabi just came out of the shower. He had a boring day and the only bit that was worthwhile was telling Shigaraki that Michiyo had moisturizer vouchers for 20% off. 

"Don't be like that. Hakuna Matata, right?" 

"Stop it." 

Michiyo switched the TV off with the remote and then she went to the refrigerator to get something out for him. She carefully guide the raindrop cake to a small plate and then she carefully take it over to him. "For you." 

"For me?" Dabi looked at what she brought over and he smirked a little, "A breast implant? I like yours the way it is already." He carefully took the plate from her and he wobbled the raindrop cake. "Heh." 

"It's a raindrop cake! I got it from my new job at Pancake House." 

"Your boss allowed you to take it home?" 

"Well..." 

"Michiyo-chan, here." There's a cutely designed delivery box that contained another raindrop cake. 

"Keita-san, you're not trying to make me feel better with this and then firing me, right?" 

"What? No. Todoroki ordered it to go. Take it to his table, he already paid. Oh, and please come back tomorrow during after school hours." 

Michiyo's smile slowly appeared and she enthusiastically thanked Keita for giving her a chance to be here. "Thank you so much! I'll work hard from now on!" 

Keita agreed and he told her that he looked forward to train her and show her the ropes on how things were done here. 

Cheerfully, she took the raindrop cake's box to Todoroki, who was reading notes he had taken from class today. 

"Todoroki, your other raindrop cake~!" It seemed like the cake was so tasty that Todoroki wanted to take another one home with him. 

"You look a lot cheerful. Is getting two strikes such a happy thing?" 

"Of course not!" 

"And what did Tsuioku-san mean indecent thoughts are a second strike?" 

"Uwah?! No! Don't listen to him! He's making that up!" 'Keita-san looks friendly and kind, but he can be such a bully when he wants to be! It wasn't even THAT indecent!' She thought with a pout on her face. "Forget about what he said. I'm hired and I can start tomorrow." 

"I see." The U.A student closed his notebook and slipped it into his bag. "Then you can have it."  He said, looking at the small box she was holding. 

"Eh?" 

Todoroki got out of the booth and he put his hand on top of the delivery box's lid. "You said you've never tried it before." 

"I-I did say that, but..." 

"It's fine. Really. Think of it as a celebratory gift on getting your first part time job." 

Michiyo smiled and she nodded, "I'll accept your kindness, thank you so much." 

Todoroki suddenly patted her on the head.
