Unknown POV  (That terrible woman from a few chapters ago)

Betrayal is a funny thing isn't it but it's part of life. Everyone has been or will be betrayed. I'm used to it.

There he was, blood dripping down his entire body pooling onto the floor. Blood red is a beautiful colour.

I love to paint with the blood of my enemies. Literally. Which is of course what I'm doing now.

"Mercy please. " he choked out. Oh silly me let me introduce him. It's Nathaniel  whom you might remember as my lover and confidante.  But as expected he let me down. Conspiring against me with other puny wolves. Pathetic.

"Mercy is an interesting word don't you think?" I said to him as I continued to paint.

"Mercy. Compassion or forgiveness shown to someone whom it is within ones power to punish or harm." I recited  the definition like a song.

"I'm expected to be lenient on you. To show you pity. I have the power to harm you, to punish you. You're life is literally in my hands. Why would I wanna let that go?" I asked him.

I put down my brush and walked towards him. My thigh high heeled boots clicked as I walked towards him slowly. That sound will probably be the last thing he hears before he dies.

I squatted in front of him and curled my forefinger under his chin and made him face me.

"I'm sorry. Please! I beg you my queen, my love. Show me Mercy. Anything I will do anything for you. I will sell my soul to the devil for you! Mercy! " he begged with blood splattering out of his mouth.

I moved closer to him until my lips were caressing his ear.

"Mercy is for the weak." I whispered.

I stood up and looked down on him to be faced with the sight of his mortified face.

"Well we all think that. I'm the only one with the guts to say it out  loud." I told him with a smile. I went back to my canvas and continued to paint.
