=====================

It has been five weeks since I talked to Miss Murray so you're all probably confused. Why did I just say you're all? I'm literally talking to myself. Or am I?

Let's move on.

I ran to the library after bumping into Luca and ended up falling asleep. By the time I woke up, it was a bit late and half the school had left. So I walked home on my own because Sydney must have snuck in and taken her car.

Its been five weeks since I spoke to Caroline. Five weeks since I had a proper conversation with Seb. Five weeks since I spoke to Luca. I've sort of been MIA.

Its been five weeks since I spoke to Sydney. I don't mind that. I'd rather not speak to her. I had a strong feeling she was trying to ruin my friendship with Caroline.

Its been six weeks since I last saw or spoke to Ronnie and Jack. The war ended four to five weeks ago. All of the soldiers have come back from the borders. I was getting pretty worried so I planned on talking to the alpha today during school times. I was not ready to meet with any of the crew.

I got dressed and walked to the pack house. No one batted an eyelash at me and let me walk around like I lived in the pack house. I walked straight to the Alpha's office and ran into Luna Marisa by the door.

"Ryan dear? Shouldn't you be in school?" She asked me.

"Yes but I came to speak with the alpha about something important." I replied to her question.

She raised a brow at me before asking, "What could be so important that you missed your lessons?

"My parents."

She immediately led me to the Alpha's office without a word. She opened the door and there sat the Alpha behind the big mahogany table.

"Ryan what brings you here? Aren't you supposed to be in school?" He asked me with a warm smile on his face unlike his mate.

"I need to talk to you about my parents." I stated blankly. His happy mood sobered up and he became serious.

"Marisa please leave us." He commanded his wife.

"But my love-"

"I said, Leave." He did not even spare a glance at her. She glared at me before storming out of the office and slamming the door behind her.

"Where are they?" I wasted no time in asking.

"They will come back to you, I promise." He tried to reassure me but I was not having any of it.

"They have been gone for six weeks. All the warriors have returned except my parents. It was a rogue attack and I know this pack is strong enough to handle one." I was making up everything I said as I go.

"There are a few routine things that they are doing. Its not a big deal." He said.

"Stop lying to me!" I shouted which was clearly a big mistake.

"Watch your tone puP!" He growled. I did not feel the urge to submit to him. In fact I could feel a burning sensation in my chest. It felt like I was losing control of myself. Despite how much I wanted to show him his place and make him submit, I managed to control myself. I submitted. This seemed to please him.

"I just need to know the truth." I said to him. I had enough of the sugarcoating.

"Don't worry they'll be back safe."
