I hate this room.

Its pink. Completely pink. Not even a nice, soothing pink. Hot pink.

The horror.

There are also plasma laser beams, like the ones in Big Hero 6. I really hate those, mostly because they somehow dampened my powers. But they're not even the worst part of the room.

The worst part is that they didn't leave anything for me to do while I wait. Which means I have plenty of time to think, which is the last thing I want right now.

While I was unconscious, my dad decided to visit me. I barely remember any of it, but he told me to trust no one, except Hazel and Nico, since they were children of the underworld. Apparently something big was stirring. A bunch of ice-y things were possessing people, and they were so powerful that they could take over gods. But children of the underworld were off limits for some reason. Then, he claimed me, and I could access my powers.

I tried to sleep, and when I finally could, I decided to send Nico  a message. I hijacked his dreams and told him everything Chaos told me.

"Do you think that's why Percy was acting all weird?" Nico asked.

"Probably." I replied. "I hadn't thought of that. Maybe he was possessed while he was here."

"Did Chaos tell you how many there were?"

I shook my head.

I heard a loud beeping sound, then a . "I gotta go. Remember, be cautious." I warned, and faded back into the real world.

I opened my eyes, and was immediately greeted with the infamous face of Captain America. His eyes were clouded with concern. I noticed the paramedics around me, checking my temperature, feeling for my pulse, the usual. I then realised that there was an IV connected to my arm. I was in a hospital room. I sighed.

"Your heart stopped beating for the last eleven minutes, and you temperature reached astronomical levels." Cap explained.

"My heart stopped beating for eleven minutes?"

"Yup."

A pause. Then, Cap spoke up again. "How can you and your friends do all those, you know, freaky stuff?"

The paramedics seemed to take that as a cue to leave.

I smiled. "Greek and Roman mythology just so happens to be real." I explained. I told him the whole story. At the end, he nodded.

"I'm not really surprised. I mean, I work with Thor."

Thor. Chaos had told me how Thor had been the first to be affected. He was poisoning the Avengers from within.

"Speaking of Thor, be careful around him." I told him. "He's been possessed by something. He can't be trusted."

"Can't I?"

I turned my head around so fast that I almost got whiplash. Thor was standing by the door. I gulped.

He walked toward Cap. "Tony needs you."

"He needs me over you?"

"I need to look after this one." He jerked his head towards me.

Cap nodded and left. I was now alone with Thor.

"Don't interfere with this war. It isn't your fight." He whispered.

"What war?" I asked, slightly scared.

"The war against your father. All of us monsters from the Ink are fighting in it."

A thousand questions spiraled in my head. What's the Ink? Why are they waging a war against Chaos? Why are they waging a war against Chaos?

Thor reached out and grabbed my hand. "Just because I'm not allowed to possess you, it doesn't mean I can't use you." He snarled.

He clicked his fingers, and we dissolved into smoke.
