It was a cold cloudy day when I woke up for my last day of the summer holidays. I hoped out of bed, got dressed then plaited my hair when my phone rang. It was Cole "Hey Anne I was wondering if you wanted to hang out?"
"Sure I'll be at the clubhouse in 5 minutes" Before he finished "ok" I hung up and rushed down the stairs.
"Woah slow down there child!" Said Marilla with two plates of scrambled eggs in each hand. She placed them on the table "Sorry Marilla it just the last day of the summer holidays I've got to make the most of It!" I smiled at her while picking my fork up then eating the scrumptious eggs.
Then I got up and went over to the sink and washed up "Bye Marilla, Bye Matthew!" Then rushing out the door to the woods. I got there and Cole is standing there with a grin on his face and his hands covered in clay "Hey Anne!" He said with a warm smile "Hi Cole what magnificent peice of artwork are you working on today?" I asked "Oh it's nothing" He laughed then I heard my phone bing.
???: Hey Anne!
Anne: Who is this?
???: Gilbert
*She names the contact Gilbert*
Anne: How did you get my number?..
Gilbert: Diana Gave it to me
Anne: Oh
Gilbert: So what's up?
Anne: Not much just with Cole
Anne: You?
Gilbert: Oh just helping bash with stuff
Anne: That's nice
Anne: Anyway I have to go now, bye
Gilbert: Bye Anne
