Me and Gilbert were sat there for a long time we really did have quite good conversations sometimes I felt like he really listened to me.. Oh no.. I think I might be starting to like him??... no that couldn't be possible we are just friends!
"Soo are the Jane Eyre books any good? Because I have finished most of my books so I don't know what to read" he asked "Yes! They are amazing! I could let you borrow some of them?" I said excitedly he laughed "That'd be great thanks" he smiled at me warmly I hope i didn't blush a bit!! I looked down at the food so just In case I did he didn't notice..

Gilberts P.O.V
I was really happy I got to speak to Anne again I really love talking to her we have great conversations Wow I don't get how she's so gorgeousss!! Ok Gilbert pull yourself together I thought. After I smiled at her i think she blushed but I'm not too sure.
I was wondering if Diana had set us up or they just couldn't come but I just loved the company of Anne. we sat by the cherry tree and watched the beautiful sunset when Charlie texted me
Charlie: GILBERT YOU ARE WITH ANNE WATCHING THE SUNSET AND YOU HAVEN'T ASKED OUT? OMG DO IT THIS IS YOUR CHANCE
Gilbert: I'll wait till saturday?..
Charlie: GILBERT I WILL EXPLODE
Gilbert: But..
Charlie: GILBERT I WILL COME TO WHERE U ARE AND TELL HER THAT YOU LIKE HER IF YOU DON'T MAN UP
Gilbert: Ok Ok.. I'm just really nervous..
Charlie: Do your best man!!!
Gilbert: Ok.. here goes nothing I'll tell her what she said later..
Charlie: OK GO ON YOU CAN DO THIS!

I put my phone away luckily Anne didn't see the messages "Sorry that was just.. bash" I laughed awkwardly. "Oh ok," she laughed "Isn't the sunset so beautiful!" She smiled and I smiled to "Yea.. but not as beautiful as you.." I said i regretted it a thousand times she looked at me and didn't say anything. "Anne.. can I.. ask you something?.." I gulped quietly here goes nothing I thought, I hope she doesn't run away this time.
"Sure." She smiled as the sun went down slowly "I was wondering if.. well.. if.." I hesitated I felt frozen I didn't know what to say..

"If you would like.. to..be my girlfriend?.." I went a bit red and I could she was blushing! She looked down to hide it we were silent for a second I felt so embarrased maybe I put her under to much pressure?.. I looked down then "yes.." Anne said after a painful minute of silence "Yes?!" I started to smile "Yes." She laughed and I smiled "Oh Anne you have made me the happiest person alive!" I shouted not to loud though and she blushed alot.

Then she got closer to me and led on my shoulder I smiled and put my head softly on hers and we watched the sunset together.
