Anne's P.O.V I saw Diana and waved "Anne!!" She called laughing happily "Diana!!" We threw ourselves into a big tight squeeze and we pulled away "How are you?" Diana asked "I'm good! How are you?" I smiled "Good," she said and put her phone in her bag "I was wondering if you wanted to meet me at the cherry tree for a picnic this evening at 6:00?" Diana added "Sure!" I smiled and we started walking "Is anyone else coming like Cole or Ruby?" I questioned "Nope." Diana said with a big grin.
We got to school and I went to my locker. "Hey Anne" I heard Gilbert say from near behind me "Oh hey Gilbert." I smiled "I was wondering if.. maybe.. on saturday me and you could.. go to the café or something?.. " he said he looked quite nervous. "Sure" I laughed "Ok !.. I mean.. Ok what time is best for you?" He asked "12:00pm?" I suggested "Sounds good to me," he smiled what lesson do you have first?.." he asked and I looked at my timetable "Maths." I answered "Oh me too can I walk with you?" He asked looking nervous again and scratching the back of his neck. "Okay" I laughed and we walked to Maths.

Anne's P.O.V I was getting ready I put on some random nice clothes because you know I like to be fashionable. (What she wore:

I grabbed my phone from my dresser and ran down the stairs "Bye I'll make sure to come back before dark!" I shouted and started to walk there it was on a big hill and there was a gorgeous cherry blossom tree at the top I loved to go there to read and enjoy the scenery I'm sure a picnic with Diana will be great!
I got the the hill and I saw someone it didn't look like Diana?.. it looked like a boy?? I started to walk up maybe I was just seeing things. I got up there and I saw Gilbert looking like he was waiting for someone "Gilbert?" "Anne?" We both said at the same time "What are you doing here?" I asked confused "Diana told me to meet her here with Charlie?.." he said "Oh she told me to meet her here and it was just going to be me and her?" Ok had Diana set me up? We waited for a bit and no one came "I take it they aren't coming." I rolled my eyes "Well i guess we can't let this go to waste?.." he said looking at the perfectly lay out picnic with food that looked so delicious there were blackberries, blueberries , Strawberries and everything there were marangues covered in cream and little bit of fruit on the side there were biscuits I just couldn't say no!
So I nodded and we sat down on the blanket. I had a feeling Diana was setting us up but I didn't really care it was still fun anyways i guess.. I mean i wanted to be friends with Gilbert he is a really nice person I'm not saying it like That you should know what I mean.
