Part 28/ At the Café

Annes P.O.V
-The next day (Saturday)-
I woke upand stretched my back with a yawn. I got up it was 11:00am i must've slept in a bit I had an hours to get ready before going to meet Leon at the café. I grabbed a baby blue t-shirt out of my wardrobe, some nice black leggings and a yellow jumper then I did my hair. I said bye to Matthew and Marilla and went to the café. I got there at exactly 12 o' clock and Leon was waiting outside I smiled and walked over to him "Hi Anne" He smiled "Hi" I smiled back and we walked in and sat down. Then i saw Gilbert and Josie outside I wondered what she was up to but I didn't care.

Josies P.O.V
-10:40am-
Josie: Hey Gil
Gilbert: Ugh what do you want?
Josie: I have to tell you something..
Gilbert: About what?
Josie: Its Anne..
Josie: And Leon..
Gilbert: And?
Josie: Well I think theres something going on
Gilbert: What? They've only known for two days you are probably just mistaken.
Josie: Fine. I know he asked her to the Café with him and i'll prove it to you.
So meet me in charlottetown at 12:00.
Gilbert: Ok I need to go there anyways.
Josie: Ok bye see you there

-At charlotte town-
I was waiting by a shop for Gilbert when I saw Anne and Leon going into the café. Perfect timing I thought and saw Gilbert "Hey Gilly." I smirked "I told you not to call me that." He said rolling his eyes "Anyway before you 'Show me what Anne and Leon are doing' or something im going to just go into the book shop." Gilbert said turning around and walking in to the book shop.
A couple minutes later he came out with a book in his hand "Whatcha got there?"" I asked "A book about medical studies," He replied "Anyway what is it you want to show me?"
We walked over to the café and I signaled Leon to do something.

Anne's P.O.V
We were having a simple conversation just about school and stuff when I saw him looking worried out the window he stood up and so did I "Are you ok?" I asked "Uh..Oh no..Thats my.. ex.. um pretend we are together she should go away.." Leon said awkwardly I didn't know what to do I kept seeing him look out of the window he turned around (So his back was against the window) I didn't know who was out there but I went along with it. He grabbed my hand "Sorry.. just play along with it.." he said with his teeth clenched in a sort of smile. So I pretended to talk to him happily when I looked and saw that it was actually Gilbert and Josie..
