I scanned the room once more. No Lee Jing. I felt completely empty without her. The empty seat next to me making it no better for my weak ego. Si Cheng was sat in the front as always, writing the notes with one hand, holding the same bouquet of flowers he held this morning. How long was he going to hold those? Kun was sat next to him, playing with the eraser shaving in front of him. I felt betrayed, how could he leave me like this? For Si Cheng of all people.

I shrugged him off checking my phone. Still no more messages from her. Eventually, my loneliness got the best of me and I stood up from my desk, collecting my stuff, and plopping down in the seat next to Si Cheng, on the other side of Kun. The two looked over, seemingly shocked to see me sitting next to them.

"Oh hey Xaoxi." Si Cheng says to me, giving a sweet little smile. Kun also giving a greeting after him. I nodded my head in response to them, trying my best to smile back. The two resumed their conversation before eventually bringing me into the conversation. We talked for awhile before the conversation dragged out and lacked content.

"Who are those flowers for?" I ask him, curiously. He chuckled a bit, a shy smile forming in his face.

"Huang Ma'yu." He says, avoiding eye contact. She 's really cute I figured she'd like them." He says.

I felt my heart drop. Had I not meant anything to him? I knew I would never date Si Cheng, nor, had I had a crush on him but I never thought Si Cheng would date anyone else. I nodded, almost feeling myself tear up. I nodded, creating a fake smike, patting him on the back. "I'm sure she'll love them!"

When would I get flowers from someone I love?
