THE CLOSURE

Chapter 9

"Its hard to wait around for someone and something you know might never happen but they also said that we can't just give up because the situation is not ideal"

After a year the thing about Charlie had happened , Suzanne completely decided that she should not involve herself in the thing called love anymore but afterall she had reflect herself so much in those duration of times because even herself cannot believe that the thing happen between her and Simon has been almost one year. Time do really flies and yes both of them does not contact each other since the day she reach for Simon back just because of Kate. She believe that there was no a point for her to give every single of effort to make someone give their heart because a love and feeling should not be force. It will happened if it were destined to be and someday if Simon was really into her, he will find his ways back to her like how she ever did before they drifted apart. In those tough times, Suzanne figure out everything about herself, she found out that she does not need to only see herself worth on the eyes of person that always take her for granted.

She believe that during those times is the only time for her to know herself better, what she want in her life and what she need to do is just to let go everything that she supposed not to hold on to anymore because sometimes the truth always hurt at the best. For Suzanne, it not hurts to love someone so much eventhough it was unrequited one but what is hurts when holding on to something or someone that never sure for everything. Day by day though she can feel her love for Simon is faded. It does not hurt anymore to listen for their favorite song and to write a new poetry and even now she write because she feels happiness. She believe both of them were destined for someone else better and she believe that whatever happen Simon is looking better with someone than her. During those times not only herself had to go through everything that we known as a journey, about what she had to handle, eventhough recently Suzanne really had a hard times to makesure that she does not neglect her own health. She knew that it will be such a waste of time to tell Simon about this even as in term of friend. Suzanne believe that Simon has been holding on his ego high than everything so maybe he does not even care even he had to lose someone in future but perhaps that was not what Suzanne really wish to be happened. Suzanne knew what is the feeling when we are losing someone because that was happened to her to once but twice and yet it happen again which is she is now losing the old Simon. Maybe the world is not a granting factory but the world is always have something better to offer eventhough that something always come after we are losing someone or something that we loved the most.

Not long before that suddenly there was someone known as Dan appeared in Suzanne life. It was hard at first to know someone new again. Suzanne felt that she gonna treat her heart like she is been manupulating and force her own heart to know someone again. Afterall, she actually feel tired and she really hope that this new person is not the same like the other guy she known before.

Dan , a 22-years old guy whose so kind and easily can get along. Dan is actually a good friend of Nadine. Suzanne getting know Dan through Nadine but Nadine only help throughout the introduction and aftermath she is leaving everything to Suzanne. Suzanne feels hard to know Dan but she had a firm believe that if she never try to get know someone new she will never really get over Simon and after all of this wasting of time. Simon must be thinking that Suzanne is such easy person and he can do whatever he want like one day treat her like someone special and the next day make her feel that she just been on one-sided love. Dan was a good guy and he is different. He is not like the other guy that the other girl is getting know. Dan always respect everyone else around him and thats what make Suzanne think it is not wrong thing to give Dan a chance, to give him a chance to be apart of her heart.

Day by day they are getting better together and Dan always make Suzanne happy with his joke and always comfort her through her ups and downs. But sometimes in Suzanne's view, Dan is a mysterious guy. He is not always on the line eventhough through her ups and downs he was there and sometimes when Suzanne asked him about that, he always try to slip off the topic they are getting through. Suzanne tried to cut off her anxiousity and to not feel suspicious about Dan even it was really hard because it not for once he been doing like that. Suzanne knew that everyone had their own flaws and she must tried to accept whatever Dan's flaw because they are getting know each other. She must give Dan chances to the end so that they both can improve themselves for better.

After a few times being a broken hearted, Dan is like an angel been sent to her to save what is left. Dan suddenly appeared in her life like there is no tomorrow and from that she knows that Dan is the one because everytime she was with Dan, Dan does not need anything to make her forget about Simon. Because this time is not like what she been through with Charlie and Harris and also Simon. Dan is someone else and he does not need to be anyone else. The truth is Dan always called himself as a Superman. He always reminded Suzanne with that. Reminiscing to the day where they both start to talk:

**Suzanne: If the superman is meant to save the world then whose gonna save him?

**Dan: For sure his girlfriend aitee??

**Suzanne: But Superman gotta know that before he preserve himself to save everyone around him, he need to care about his heart too. And! For sure do not expect his girlfriend to save him as he that the one actually will taking care of her. How can expect the girlfriend to save him as the girlfriend whose need to be saved hahaha!!

Dan is laughing out loud because what Suzanne said and from there they are getting know ecah other more.

Dan is effortless and with his presence thats enough for her to makesure she forget Simon. Suzanne never think about Simon anymore. She believe what she started is true enough with Dan and it is not a mistake to give Dan more chances to be there. Sometimes we just had to wait for a miracle to happen because sometimes a better thing awaits and that better is Dan. Day by day slowly Suzanne can feel that her heart feel a little something towards Dan but she not afraid anymore about that. She just need to wait a little longer for this. She will not rush to let Dan know anymore. Dan is miracle and cure to her.
