Clary's pov

Light flitted across my face waking me from my slumber. I opened my eyes and realised I was still curled up on the walkway. However, I noticed I was covered by a long black cloak. Someone cares about me

By the time I unraveled myself, cracking as I go, workers had started to appear. I ran down to the dorms and changed into my new uniform. (Outfit below)

I realised it was a bit short but I saw the cloak thrown over the screen

I realised it was a bit short but I saw the cloak thrown over the screen. I grabbed it and threw round my shoulders and walked out the door. I was walking out the door when the she-devil turned up. 'Leaving for good freak?' She taunted
'No actually I'm going out as I have a new job in the rafters above the stage' I carried on walking until I reached the door and said 'I might even drop a background on you' she took in a sharp breath 'is that a threat?' She screeched.
I turned around fully and looked her in the eye 'no, it's a promise' with that I opened the door, slammed it behind me and set off into Paris again.

It had been a few hours and I still haven't found the hospital. I was walking until a ran into a very familiar looking gentleman. 'Monsieur Slavince, it's such a pleasure to see you again' He smiled and surprised me by gathering me into hug.
'Mark please Clarice and what are you wearing?'
I looked down ashamed 'well I have been downgraded from a dancer to handling the ropes. Hence the outfit as no one really sees us we have to wear this short thing.'
'Well you cover yourself well with the cloak. What is it you came today for?'
'Thank you and I came because I need to ask a nurse some questions'
'Well I know where the hospital is can show you?'
I eagerly nodded. He placed a gloved hand on my back and led me through the busy streets and to the hospital. We went inside and straight to a young woman who was making notes of all the people who cane in.

Mark told me to sit down whilst he went and talked to her. After a minute or so he came back and told me to follow him.
We arrived at small office and inside was an elderly women.
'Nurse Judith?' I ask. The women looks up and nods 'what can I do for you child?'
'Nurse, my name Clarice Mae Jones and I am here to find out the truth of my past and where my brother is now.'
The nurse looked shocked
'It was only a matter of time' she muttered she then straightened up and said 'take a seat pet it's time you learned the truth.'
