Mark took me back to the house just in time to see Christine and Raoul say goodbye. I ran over to her and hugged her. We pulled back, she climbed into the carriage and rode away.

I woke up next morning in an empty dorm. I jumped up and rushed around trying to get ready. I picked out a dark blue dress with a pale blue apron tied round my waist.
I pulled my hair into a plaited bun that had two draping of it that reached my hips.
I rushed out the door and fled down to the stage. I ran up to the walkways. 'Jason' I huffed, out of breath, 'what did I miss?'
He turned to look at me and smiled at me 'They just said they will be doing Romeo and Juliet the ballet' I nodded and carried on watching the performance practise. 'You look nice today' I turned to Jason 'umm...... thank you?' I looked down once more but I saw Jason still staring at me 'Clary-'
I cut him off 'look Jason I think you're a really nice guy but I already have someone and I value your friendship a lot but I'm not interested, I sorry' I saw his face fall. Smiling softly I walked downstairs for lunch.Unknown pov
I've just been friend zoned, how pitiful she thinks she can just outlaw me. That little b**** will never throw me away again when she's begging me for mercy. I chuckled sadistically as I pictured Clary bound and gagged in my torture chamber at my house. I sauntered down towards my room forming a plan in my mind to get her to my house in the suburbs.
I smiled it will be such a surprise when she realises I'm rich and just disguised as a poor stage hand to get her back.Clary's pov
It was the night of the performance and I was nervous as this was the night that decided whether or not we would stay in business. I looked in the mirror and smoothed down my cream and red dress.
I dressed up a little tonight as everyone has to go on stage to do bows at the end of the show. I kept hair the same as it still looked neat.
So far the show was going great and no sign of the phantom which is always good. However, whilst Carlotta and Piangi were singing all the lights on the stage went out.
Everyone was confused. I turned to Jason 'could you take over for me?' He nodded and I raced down to where the managers were just explaining an electrical faults and that something will take up their time whilst trying to get the lights back on.
I ran towards Meg and Lizzie 'Hey could you help me' they both nod 'wait what are u doing'
'I'm going to distract the audience and I need you, Meg, to get the lights back on and Lizzie your helping me' Lizzie tried to protest but I assured her she wouldn't have to sing just keep her eyes on me at all times. Meg ran off to do her job and I grabbed my black cloak and threw the hood up. I stopped a passing ballet rat and told her to give this music piece to monsieur Reyer.I walked out onto the empty stage leaving Lizzie in the wings, I'll motion her to come on when I'm ready. Reyer started playing the music and I looked up at the audience.
