Clary's pov

I walked into my dorm and saw Christine all dressed up for the Hannibal performance tonight. She was stunning.
'Christine you look beautiful'
'Clary! Thank god you've returned. Liz has been looking for you for hours.' Meg exclaimed.
'Wait how long have I been gone?' I questioned her.
At that moment Lizzie burst into the room.
'You've come back. I was so worried' she says hugging me.
I awkwardly hug back 'you didn't have to worry'
She looks at me like I'm dumb
'Of course I did you dummy. Why can't you see there are people who care about you?'
I just smiled.

After that emotional reunion. I quickly got changed and practise my steps one more time.

It was time. I could see Christine stressing.
'Hey you'll be great' I reassured her. She looked at me and smiled but didn't say anything.

Finally, the performance was over and Christine was in a word sublime. We all went back stage and I noticed Christine had gone missing.
'Hey Clary have you seen Christine?' Asked Meg.
'No but I have an idea where she might be I'll go and get her'

I hurried through the crowd towards the chapel hoping she was there.

'Christine, Christine' I sung softly. I heard a voice reply 'Christine'
I continued to sing
'Where in the world have you been hiding really you were perfect. I only wish I knew your secret. Who is this great tutor.'

She turned to me and replied
'Father once spoke of an angel I used to dream he'd appear. Now as I sing I can sense him and I know he's here. Here in this room he calls me softly, somewhere inside hiding. Somehow I know he's always with me, he unseen genius.
I was definitely confused this wasn't the girl I'd come to know.

'Christine you must have been dreaming, stories like this can't come true. Christine your talking in riddles and it's not like you. I sang leading her out of the chapel.

Angel of music guid and guardian grant to me your glory. Who is this angel? This angel of music hide no longer secret and strange angel'
'He's with even now
Your hands are cold
All around
Your face, Christine, it's white
It frightens me
Don't be frightened

I reassured her and made our way back to the dorms but I couldn't help but have this nagging feeling that we where being watched.

A/n
This is angel of music that originally Meg and Christine sing together but I changed it to Christine and Clary to sing together so a friendship bond can start to form.
