Jerome's POV
"Mitch!" I yelled, looking back at the slammed door. I heard what he whispered to Emily.
"What?!"
"Why did you say that?!" I yelled back. he shrugged and I ran out of the room and into the hallway to see a crying Emily being hushed by Squid and Noelle. "Emily-"
"What do you want?" Noelle hissed. She turned around and saw me. "Squid, take Emily out of this place."
"Okay, come on," he replied. As they left, I gestured Noelle to sit down.
"I'm fine. What do you want?"
"Well, first, Mitch didn't mean to say-"
"No, he did," she frowned. I looked at her eyes, which were starting to water.
"Noelle, don't cry-"
"I'm not!" she yelled and stormed off.
"Fine! Be like that! I hope you know not to go near that squid!" I yelled back. I hated saying that, I mean I don't mind Squid, but I guess it's for the best.
"Dude."
I saw Mitch and he put his hand on my shoulder.
"I was thinking, while Sky talked, about how Noelle would react, but this is-"
"I know, I don't like it either," he sighed.
