Jerome's POV
I got out of my chair and ran to catch up with Mitch.
"I'm coming with you." I said firmly.
"Ok." He said.
We got in our cars and drove to Sky's house. When we got to the house we knocked on the door. Sky answered.
"Hello?" He said confused
"I have one question: why do you hate squid so much?" Mitch said surprisingly calm.
"When we were kids I had to move from New York. I loved New York. I had to move because my dad got a job here. Me and Squid used to be really good friends. He had promised that we would be friends forever before I left. Unfortunately he didn't keep that promise. So one: he broke his promise and two: he got to stay in New York." Sky said.
"But is that really a reason to nearly kill someone?!" Mitch said raising his voice.
The door slammed in our faces.
"Well. We got some answers." I said.
I called Noelle and asked her what squids number is. After I hung up I started to dial squids number.
"Erm...hello?" Squid said.
"Hi it's Jerome." I said
He hung up. I called again. He picked up after the 4th ring.
"Listen I don't know why I'm saying this, but what do you want?" He said
"We want you to answer some questions. Don't worry we're with you" I said.
"Ok?" He said
"So did you live in New York before you came here?" I asked.
"Yes how did you know?" He said
"Nevermind that. Did you promise Sky that you guys would be friends forever, and then break the promise?" I asked
"NO!!! It was the opposite!!!! I swear!!! Where did you heard that?!" He said.
"Meet me at the hospital." I said.
"Whats going on?!" He said
"I swear I'll be there. See you there!" I said
I hung up.
"I'm going to the hospital to meet squid there." I said
"I'm coming with you." He said smiling.
"Ok" I said.
At hospital
I saw squid standing at the doors to the hospital.
"Glad you came but your not going to be glad you came." Mitch said.
"Uh-oh." He said.
We walked in and the lady at the front desk asked for the room number.
"22" I said.
"Emily (not telling you mah last name :))" she said
I heard squid gasp when she said that.
"Thank you" I said.
"What happened?" He said nervously.
Mitch sighed and looked down.
"You'll see" he said.
