"Well done, Karen. I knew you had it in you." Reeva spoke with a satisfied smile as she entered the training room followed by the rest of the crew

"It's just like the stories that have been told." Esme spoke.

"And if it's really true, this is just only the start of what is to come for Karen." Phoebe or Sophie followed. I still could not recognise the both of them. Esme, I could recognise somehow.

"This is nothing compared to the full potential that has yet to be unleashed from you. You indeed are going to become a legacy." One of them continued. These all sound like compliments but why do I not feel that great about them?

"How do you feel?" It was Andy who spoke this time. I felt relieved at his voice.

"Good but then now I feel I just got hit by bricks. My arms are aching."

"That's because you have not undergone formal training. You will need to learn to pace yourself and control your powers." Lorna said to me.

"Have a well-deserved rest for now. You have proved to me me why I was not wrong to have chosen you." Reeva said as she placed a hand on my shoulder.

Everyone soon exited the training room, leaving Andy and I still inside.

"How do you feel? Other than being tired, how does it feel like to have your powers back?" He asked.

"Good. Like it was meant to be. I was glad that I had those eight slices of pizza cause I'm so worn out now." I said with a grunt as I felt an ache in my shoulder.

"We can have that later. Or whatever you want. The chef makes a mean burger. I will see you after you rest? Maybe I can continue giving you the grand tour of this place." Andy offered kind-heartedly. I was starting to see a friend in him.

"Sure, I will hold you to that." I smiled widely, I then realised it was the first time I did that ever since I was rescued.

Over the next month, I started to train like my life depended on it. I wanted to get stronger and own my powers. I did not want to hide who I was anymore. I wanted to become stronger, so that I can protect myself and more importantly for those I love. Every morning, I went to the gym after breakfast to start my conditioning.

Lorna advised me to build on my stamina if I was going to be exerting so much energy while using my powers. I was grateful for her help. She started to become a mentor and sister figure to me during my time here in the Inner circle. I even got to meet Dawn, her baby girl whom she gave birth to recently. She was so precious, and I could see that Lorna loves her dearly.

The Frosts sisters and Sage have been helping me to gain better understanding of my abilities. It is like I am discovering something new about myself everyday. So far, I have been working on making my powers offensive in battle. I was able to condense and manipulate my energy flames into different forms so that I would not be over exerted like the first time I tried in the training room.

I tried different ranges of attacks to see which required more strength, stamina and precision. It was crazy hard work, but it was worth it see what I could accomplished. I have been currently working on having my energy flames helping me to produce the right amount to lift myself up from the ground. I did it once a long time ago, so I figured maybe I could try again. So far, I have been falling and tripping, so that is still a work in progress.

After formal training in the afternoon, I would spend some wind down with Andy in his room playing video games. He helped me returned back to teenage normalcy. All these trainings were so intense, I have forgotten that I was being trained to fight in battles one day. I would not have imagine seeing myself like this in the past.
