it isnt often
that i find the courage
to look for strength in places
other than ones within me
for more often than not
it only leads to
dissapointment.
so now
that ive tried
reaching out to you
it isn't surprising that
you never were where
you claimed you'd be
you've left me alone
again
with myself
and i don't know
what's worse
the pain of a
broken promise
or the pain of a
a lonely soul.
