you were but a
fisherman
looking for fishes
in the serene sea that I was
you stumbled upon
my treasure
and stole it away
to stack among your
chest of treasures
only then did i realise
you were a pirate
here to steal all I'd been saving
and now you were
departing
to find more treasure
in someone that wasn't meyou changed me, my waves didn't
want to hide their pain
they roughed up
became stronger
wouldn't let anyone in
this magnificent sea
became a tyrant
to drown anyone who ventured by
until he, my sailor
came to explore every inch of me
waves lashed out against him
but his anchor was
set down firmly
he's here because of his love
for the sea that I am
perhaps he will give me
treasure
that I thought I'd lost.~09/11/2018
