At this point, David was furious. He immediately blew a punch towards the man but he dodged it easily. The man proceeded to punch him in his face then kick him in his stomach, afterwards he pulled David's leg which immediately caused him to fall on the back of his head.

To be honest, it was satisfying for her to see him like this. On the floor not knowing where to hold the most aching part of his body. His nose which was bleeding, his stomach that probably had a bruise from how hard the kick was, or his head that was probably bleeding as well.

But she felt a slight guilt.. was it that she took so much time out of that man's life that he could be possibly doing anything but protect her? Or was it that David was on the floor hurting? Or was it that the man hadn't hurt him enough? She didn't know

She was a respectful woman that have always accepted hers, and everybody else's flaws no matter how bad or small it was, she didn't care. She never judged someone by what skin color they were, what they wore, how much money they had, what body type, etc..

She was also an intelligent woman. She ate like a woman. She talked like a woman. She acted like a woman. She never really raised her voice at anyone. She never said or done anything disrespectful towards anyone. She was kind and sweet.

She always made sure to say the nice words. She was always careful with what comes out of her mouth. She thinks twice before saying things. She has to know what effect it has on whoever she was talking to to make sure she doesn't make anyone, and she means anyone feel uncomfortable around her with anything they don't like that they have.

She always encouraged people to smile, spread love and happiness towards everybody. She made sure her smile stays on her face. Even if it was fake, she had to let people think that she was happy. She always have spread love and happiness. She had earned a lot of people's trust and she was grateful for that. She was also was grateful that she had a lot of friends who cared for her. And she was willing to do the same

To be this quite simple: she was a good woman.  She doesn't deserve a man like David. So why was she with him?

That question rang in his head until he realized what he had done. He didn't feel ashamed or sorry for it. He knew he did a favor for that beautiful lady

He looked up from David and looked up to Lucille. She was looking at David with wide eyes but a small, tiny smile was on her lips. It was so small, it was almost nonexistent. But he saw through her clearly

When she finally looked up, his eyes were already on her's. She was blushing like crazy. She kept her eyes on his until he tilted his head motioning her to go outside with him

As he gestured her, he walked out the bar like nothing happened. In the way, he threw 10 dollars in the bar as he said plainly "keep the change" and walked out the door

When the man got out, everyone took one last glimpse at David then proceeded to do whatever they were doing.

She looked at David one last time then got up from the bar stool, paid 5 dollars for the beer and got up walking fast towards the exit curious to what the man wants

When she reached the door, she opened it gently. When she walked out into the cold night she shivered but didn't bother. She was just too curious

On the right of her was where people parked their motorbikes. And oh boy, was it good to see him standing by it looking out into the night

She walked slowly as she put her arms around her body missing the warmness. Her heels were clinking on the cement parking lot. Her hair flowing behind her at the cause of the wind. Her face lit up by the moonlight which only added more beauty to her. Her dress held her curves perfectly. Not squeezing her body or loosely hanging, it was just perfect.

When she reached him she looked at what he was looking at. The moon up the sky that lit up the night. There was silence between them, but it wasn't awkward. It was actually.. comforting

"Cold night, huh?" He said still looking into the moon as he smoked. She smiled even though he couldn't see it. She turned her head towards him and spoke up confidently

"Why did you do it?"

"Hm?" He hummed as he kept his eyes glued to the moon. "Why did you help me?" She repeated

Silence was her answer until he exhaled the smoke he recently took in. "What he was doing was wrong. He shouldn't have talked to a lady like that. What I had done, wasn't close to what he probably have done to you"

He said while still looking into the moon "Did you help me because it was wrong or did you help me because you want me to hook up with you?"

She asked not even caring what comes out of her mouth anymore. She was broken. Realizing what David had done to her all those years of abusing.

The man looked from the moon for the first time then at her astonishing beautiful soft face. He got lost in her beauty. He didn't know how to respond. He gathered himself up and answered calmly

"I don't think a man's smart enough to hook up with a woman like you when she had just came out of a toxic relationship"

"And what's up with me?" She asks confidently
He chuckles and looks at the ground as he puts his hand on his beard and start stroking it

"There's nothing wrong. It's just that.." he stops then resumes calmly again "You're beautiful. I don't know why a dick like him would treat a woman like you" he finally looks up and dares to meet her beautiful, green- blue eyes

She smiled softly. She has never heard a man say that to her meaning it for a long time. Yes she knew she was beautiful but she didn't think a man would fall this hard for her of her beautyness

She was beautiful. Better yet, gorgeous. Her face was heart shaped, she was screaming jawlines., her lips were pumped, her nose was small, pointy and beautiful. Her eyes were green-blue, If you look straight into her eyes, you could see trees and grass, but also see the sea.. Nature.

her eyebrows were a little thick but not too much. Her eyelashes were long and curved naturally. Her hair was a beautiful blonde that reached the middle of her back. It was silky. It was so silky. Her body was perfect. Her curves, her breast size, her butt size, her thighs and legs. Everything was perfect in her.

But her life wasn't.

Well, until she met him
