Jin's POV
I groggily open my swollen eyes as the smell of pancakes and syrup hit my nose. I groaned in pain as my stiff back pops as I stretch out. My body shivers as my feet touch the cold floor of the living room.
I walk into the kitchen finding the girls eating pancakes. Jisoo looks up holding out a plate with a stack of pancakes. I weakly smile back at her taking a seat grabbing the plate.
Lisa takes a sip of her orange juice as she throws a worried glance at me. "Jin...why were you sleeping on the couch?" I slightly flinch remembering Namjoon's harsh words. "I wanted to give Namjoon some time alone."
Jisoo takes a bite from her pancakes. "At times like this, it's not good to be alone." I sigh agreeing with her. We fall silent and continue eating our pancakes. Light footsteps come down the stairs.
I glance at the door as Jungkook walks in with red puffy eyes followed by a gloomy Jimin. "Taehyung will be down in a few." Both of them take a seat as Lisa hands them plates.
After two minutes of eating Taehyung stumbles down the stairs. Jungkook hands him a plate. When we finish eating the makneas go back to their room as I follow the girls into the living room.
We sit on the couch and watch TV at a low volume as I grow worried.
Namjoon hasn't come down the stairs. Should I check up on him?
I rise from my seat. "I'll be back in a few." Rose nods as she snuggles up to her friends as a comedy movie starts. I quickly make my way up the stairs passing by the makneas room.
My bedroom door comes into view. I nervously sigh and lightly knock on the door awaiting an answer. "N-Namjoon? Breakfast is getting cold." I flinch hearing a soft thump hitting the door.
A muffle go away makes my heart crack a bit more. I open the door peeking my head inside shivering as the coldness of the room hits me straight on. "Namjoon you have to eat."
I hear a muffle groan coming from under the covers as he shifts positions. "I said go away." I make my way towards his bed and sit on the edge. "Namjoon please you have to eat."
Namjoon tiredly sighs as he turns to face me. "Will you leave me alone if I eat." I sigh wiping a tear off his cheek. "If that's what you want...I-" My eyes widen as Namjoon pulls me down on top of him.
"I'm sorry for last night baby. I'm so sorry." I snuggle up to him as tears flow out. "It's okay...this is your way of coping with the pain." Namjoon lightly pecks my lips as he plays with my hair.
"It's my fault you know..." I shake my head letting my tense body relax in his arms. "No...it's mine." Namjoon hugs me tighter as he kisses my forehead. "She died because me. I called her father and he r-r-"
I quickly kiss Namjoon cutting him off before he feels more guilty. I pull away wiping his new tears. "Don't blame yourself, you didn't know what her father was capable of. Plus if I hadn't kicked her out then you wouldn't have called her father."
Namjoon holds my face in his hands and stares deeply into my eyes. I stare back feeling broken as I analyze his shatter soul. "Baby...you're not to blame...I'll take all of the blame so you won't have to drown in guilt."
Namjoon's POV
Jin leans his face against my hands as he closes his eyes and whispers. "I don't want you to drown in guilt either." I wipe the rest of his tears as he opens his eyes and faintly smiles. "Let's go and get your stomach filled with sweet tasting pancakes."
Jin crawls off of me pulling me out of the bed. A genuine small smile spreads on my face as Jin takes me downstairs into the kitchen. He sits me down on the kitchen island as he grabs the now cold pancakes.
"I'll heat them up." He piles a stack on a plate putting them in the microwave. "Have you eaten?" Jin glances over his shoulder nodding. "Yeah." I notice his tense shoulders and stand behind him.
He jumps as I wrap my arms around his waist. "You're too tense." Jin lowly chuckles as he ruffles my hair taking the pancakes out of the microwave. "It's what happens when you sleep on the couch."
My eyes widen at his words as he unwraps my arms from his waist. "Y-You slept on the couch?!" Jin pats my shoulders as he guides me back to my seat. "I was freezing last night and decided to sleep in the warm living room."
"Baby I-" My words get muffled as Jin shoves a piece of pancake into my mouth. Jin lightly giggles poking my cheeks. "Stop saying sorry and eat. I'll go wake up Suga and Hoseok." I swallow my food grabbing the fork.
"Suga's back?" Jin nods pouring more syrup on my pancakes as he walks out of the kitchen. "Jin!" He looks back at me with a questioning gaze. "Be careful...Suga doesn't deal with emotions...well."
Jin nods walking off towards the stairs.
Hoseok's POV
A light knock on the door wakes me from my sleepless state. Suga shifts in his bed as I rise to open the door.
Jin stands on the other side with a worried expression and sighs in relief once he sees me. "What's wrong hyung?" "I was just worried since neither of you were coming downstairs to get breakfast." I scratch the back of my neck as I shut the door behind me.
"I don't think Suga will be happy if I woke him up." Jin nobs in understanding as he leads the way into the kitchen where Namjoon is placing his empty plate into the sink. "Want me to heat it up for you?" I shake my head.
Jin pats my back as he takes Namjoon with him into the living room where the girls are silently watching a comedy movie. I grab a plate stacking up a few pancakes and pour syrup on them.
My heart is numb when it usually jumps in excitement at the sight of pancakes. "I miss you Y/n." I groan as a sudden pain travels down my back.
I should still be resting...I did get pushed down the stairs a few days ago....the day it all went downhill.
"The day we all turned our backs to her." Rough loud footsteps stomp down the stairs in a quick but slow manner. "What's for breakfast?" I jump at the sudden deep bored voice coming from the doorway.
I face a puffy faced Suga. "Pancakes." Suga ruffles his hair tiredly as he huffs. "Can you heat them up for me?" My eyes widen at his question. "Are you sure you're Suga?"
Suga throws me tired glare as I quickly set my half eaten pancakes on the counter. "Yep definitely Suga. I'll heat them up." An awkward silence settles around us as the pancakes spin in the microwave.
"Did you sleep well last night?" I glance at Suga and shake my head. "Only for an hour...what about you?" Suga lays his head on his arms. "Had nightmares all night."
I take the pancakes out and hand them to him. "What about?" Suga weakly stabs at his food as I pour him milk into a glass. "Y/n." The milk jug slips from my fingers bursting on the floor. "IS EVERYTHING OKAY BACK THERE?!"
Suga quickly grabs napkins as I set the half filled glass on the counter. "WE JUST DROP THE MILK! WE'll CLEAN IT UP!" I pick up the broken jug tossing it to the trash as Suga hands me some napkins.
We clean up the mess in silence. Once we finish cleaning we go back to our pancakes. "Hoseok..." I look up at Suga. "Yeah?" He sets down his fork. "It's not your fault that she's gone...it's mine."
I shake my head placing my empty plate in the sink. "We all did something horrible to her but she forgave us for it. I still blame myself but I'll try my best to forgive myself."
I hand the half filled glass of milk to him before walking out of the kitchen.
