"Unbelievable," Mingzhu muttered seeing Yanchen, Ruibin, Zimo, Xingjie and Yanlei lying on the floor.

They decided to drink last night at Mingzhu and Yanchen's apartment since Yanlei's parents brought home a special wine.

"Should I wake them up?" Jeffrey asked, holding a broom.

"Leave them," Chunhua answers from the kitchen. "I don't want to deal with a hangover Xingjie."

Shuzhen sighed from the table, "Me, either. It's gonna take me forever to get Zimo back to the house."

"He lives with you and Yilong-ge right?" Mingzhu asks, picking up some of the bottles lying on the ground. "Why not ask him to fetch you here?"

"He's out of town,"

They ignored the 5 boys and decided to talk in the kitchen. "Here," Jeffrey handed them some invitations. "It's for Yankai's birthday."

Chunhua opened the invitation, "Ohh, it's this Saturday?"

Jeffrey nods, "Yeah and you're all coming. Including Yanyu. Yankai wants her to be there."

Mingzhu bit her lip, "Are you sure she wants to? I mean, Kaihao's going to be there."

"She can't say no," Jeffrey interjects. "That's Yankai we're talking about."

Shuzhen looked at Mingzhu who was having trouble arranging her thoughts, "Why don't you talk to her? I mean out of all of us, she's closest to you."

Mingzhu let out a long sigh, "I'll try my best."

Yanyu met up with Mingzhu at the small bridge in the middle of the park. She just finished her shift at the cafe and decided to accept Mingzhu's invitation.

"Hey," Mingzhu greeted her. "How are you?"

"Doing good, I guess. And you?"

Mingzhu smiled trying to avoid the tears, "We missed you, Yanyu. All of us. Including me."

Yanyu bit the inside of her cheeks before speaking to her long time bestfriend, "If this is about Yankai's birthday, don't worry. I'm going."

"I -"

"Trust me. The least I can do is disappoint him even more," Yanyu interrupts. If that's all she wanted to talk about, then she should start heading back.

"Yanyu," Mingzhu calls out in a serious manner. "If you're still mad about -"

"I'm not."

"Then why -"

"Can you please drop it, Mingzhu?" Yanyu looked at her directly. "If you're here to apologize, don't. I don't need your sympathy."

Before Mingzhu could utter a word, Yanyu turned around without bidding goodbye.

"I'm sorry, Yanyu..." Mingzhu whispers, her voice cracking.
