It was weird to ride in a very expensive car. I don't know what he does for a living to get this but, maybe dear old Johnny's fam is really rich to have these kinds of privileges.

Anyways, we were closer to the house when I remembered earlier:

Nana called in and Anna told me that she was trying to turn the oven on.

So. Danielle decided to cook!

"Oh my gosh, please step on it!"

"I thought you said we're here?"

I looked again and saw our street. "Oh, right!" And I got out and rushed to the door, trying to feel my keys in my pockets. When I didn't find it, I began knocking.

"Then why didn't you beat him with a bat?" Nana complained and City laughed.

I worried much when Nana asked his name but, then she remembered she was cooking pie so she didn't get on to that. When I started calling him City, she went a long with it. "Believe me I wanted to." I said and he shrugged.

"I saw how much you wanted to." He agreed and my Nana shook her head with a smile on her face I rarely see.

"So, where are your parents from?" She asks him.

"North Dakota." He replied. "I've never been there because she never had the time. They were busy with work and my brother and I were confined in a boarding house in London when I was ten."

"Oh, why is that?" She pushes that I wondered what this man would say.

"My parents were really busy. They couldn't teach us things we need to know even if they wanted to."

Danielle sighed. "How sad." Then she cheered up again. "Well, I know that you and Jonathan are very close."

City smiled. "Is it quite obvious?"

"You call him Johnny then Jonathan then Johnny again, don't you? You were telling stories about your adventures together. So I know you were that close. Like, this young girl here. She calls me Nana then Danielle then Nana again." She tells him with eyes so deep I can see her younger self. "You can only call a person two names at the same time if you know them too much."
