Ellvorie Mattan stared at the person in front of her, anger flowing off of her in bits in pieces. She couldn't decide between anger and relief.
"Menagerie-" the figure spoke.
Elvie shook her head. "Don't call me that. I'm not taking over. I'm not the heir."
"You ARE the heir Menagerie. You are MY heir."
"Why does it have to be me? Why not someone, hmmm, I dont know... more evil?"
"It's not the same. Menagerie you are the heir to the Neverseen."
Elvorrie stamped her foot. "I will NEVER."
The figure in front of her shook her head. "It's your destiny...." then she disappeared.
Elvorrie woke up gasping for breath. Her body was covered in cold sweat. One word was running through her head.
