Kong's POV

As soon as I opened the door Arthit came storming in immediately grabbing my upper arms and giving me a once over.

"What happened? Is something wrong?"

It was a slight struggle but when I could finally pry myself out of his death grip I stepped forward and wrapped my arms around his waist burying my face in his chest. He was taken aback momentarily before his encircled my body returning the hug slightly tentatively.

"Kong? Please tell me what happened? I'm starting to get worried now."

My voice was slightly muffled as I whispered against his chest but I was sure he could hear me quite clearly.

"I was missing you."

"What?"

"I wanted to see you."

"That's it? But you said it was urgent."

"I wanted to urgently to see you."

"Oh God! Kong! You scared the shit out of me. Don't ever do that again."

"You don't want me to call you when I miss you?"

"You know bloody well what I am talking about."

We fell silent again for a few moments before his arms tightened around me and he pulled me in closer to his body.

"I missed you too."

"Arthit, can I ask for a favor?"

"Anything."

"Can we please stop playing hide and seek with each other every time one of us freaks out?"

"But aren't you mad at me?"

"I don't have any reason to be mad at you. Why would you even think that?"

"Because last time I....and then you...uh...cause I messed up. But yeah, ok. No more running away."

When we finally pulled away we simply looked at each other and smiled, bending forward almost simultaneously to share a quick peck. And it felt like the most natural thing in this world I have ever done. Just like the evening we spent together catching up on everything we had missed in these few weeks. And as much as I would prefer the blissful avoidance to continue forever, we needed to address the giant thorn in our sides.

We were lying next to each other on the bed while he scrolled through his phone to check up on all his missed messages, when I decided this was as much courage as I would ever muster. It's now or never.

"Arthit..."

"Hmmm?"

"Will you take me to meet your sister?"

He immediately whipped his head around to face me and vigorously shook his head.

"No, Kong. I don't think it's a good idea."

"Why not?"

"Because....because I shouldn't have pushed you that day. It was my fault. You shouldn't have to go through that anymore. We can resolve any problem that arises with my sister without getting you involved."

"But I want to be involved."

"No. I won't let you get hurt again."

"Arthit you were right to have pushed me. Perhaps I wasn't ready then, but I am now. I really think I should talk to your sister."

"Why would you want to put yourself through that again?"

"Cause I don't think we can have a future together if I don't."
