Chapter Eighteen

Sinusundan pa rin ng tingin ni Trishia ang palayong si Vincent, nakaupo pa rin siya kung saan sila nag – usap ng "ex" niya. It's been 2 years since they broke up. They never had communication since then, but 6 months ago, Vince texted him saying he wanted to talk to her. Pinagbigyan naman siya ni Trish because honestly, she felt nothing but pure happiness for the man who once had her heart.

Vince is getting married with his new girlfriend, Tanya. Infairness to Vince, they had ther relationship a year after they broke up and now they decided to tie the knot next month. Being gentleman as always, Vince had the decency to let Trish know first (outside their family ofcourse) to make sure there will be no communication between Trish and Vince, they decided to talk.. just like the old times.

Although for Trish, there is no need for clarification, alam niya matagal na siyang walang karapatan kay Vince and whatever makes him happy, she will support Vince because he deserves all the love and happiness. But ofcourse, she also felt grateful that up to now Vince respect her inspite of the differences that led to their separation.

Honestly, people around them are wondering why did they broke up. Wala naman kasi talagang third party, they just needed space and probably that space ended up to be better without each other. They both respect that. But Trish knew among the two of them, Vince got hurt more because he was rejected. Sometimes she felt guilty for it, knowing how Vince took care of her especially when she needed it most. Now, finally Vince had found someone who will make him feel secure and complete (na siguro hindi niya nabigay) she is really happy for him. Nasabi na rin niya kay Vince na hindi na siya mag – aattend ng kasal nila ni Tanya to minimize "issue". Ayaw niyang bigyan ng "insecurities" si Tanya besides that's their wedding. Baka magtaka pa mga kamag –anak nila Vince pag andon siya. It's really enough that they had the talk "first" and they understood each other. Niyakap pa nga niya si Vince as a farewell. Finally, nawala na ang guilt sa kanya dahil alam niyang sobrang nasaktan niya ito dahil hindi pa siya handing magpakasal sa kaniya... But it's all in the past now.

Tinignan niya ang FB account niya sa phone at messenger. Naisip niya kailangan niya munang magde – activate ng FB niya para hindi na siya 'magulo' ng social media once nakita nan g lahat ang Jimenez – Reyes Nuptial. Atleast kahit mga 6 months lang, nagawa na niya iyn dati (nung nag – break sila) at gagawin na niya ulit. Tutal sa work niya text pa rin ang source ng communication nila.

She hit deactivate account option. Then she sighed. Enjoying thw cold breeze. It's December and Christmas break nila. Festive ang mood sa mall dahil sa mga Christmas decors and lights. She never felt better. She just turned 31 last October. After Vince wala na muna siyang inentertain or actually wala naman talagang sumubok dahil na rin sa subsob siya sa trabaho. Ang dami ngang nagbibiro na magiging "old maid" na siya.

TInext niya si Kaycee at sinabing kung may kailangan siya ay sa text siya mag message dahil nag deactivate siya ng FB at messenger.

She decided to stay for a little longer.. Nag –enjoy pa siya sa mga music na naririnig galling sa live band.

Palayain ang isa't isa.. Kung tayo .. tayo talaga...

Her heart jumped, she remembered Daniel, it's been 4 years since they had communication, almost 2 years since she saw him at the mall. Fate allowed them to meet that time. But now, parang ayaw pa ng tadhana magkita sila.

"Kumusta na kaya siya?", she sighed alam niya kahit hindi siya magsalita at hindi siya umamin , a part of her is with Daniel, that is why she felt incomplete. She misses him, being her movie buddy, friend, special friend. His friendship, his talks, his wisdom, his dreams, his plans – Everything!.. But now he is lost ni wala siyang balita tungkol sa kanya , baka nga may sarili na siyang pamilya. Trishia sighed once again, kanina lang masaya siya, ngayon parang may kung anong sumaksak sa puso niya na masakit.
