Billie, the newest incarnation of Death itself had just returned from a horrific bus crash with over a dozen casualties. She took no joy in such tragedy, but escorting the dead to the afterlife was the business she was in and while she usually didn't go out into the field, she did show up to help with larger casualties just to get out of the office.

As Billie returned to her personal office, she stopped and paused, sensing someone behind her.

"Hello, Raphael."

"Aw, you peeked," Raphael said as he stepped into the office. He had taken possession of Jesse the Anti-Christ in a moment of weakness and thanks to the angel Todreel, had absorbed all of the lost angel grace on Earth. "Hello, Billie. I see you got a nice promotion while I've been away."

"Don't you usually go for meat suits that have more age on them?" Billie asked.

"This time I went for style over age," Raphael told her. "You do know why I'm here?"

"I'm Death, I know everything," Billie told him. "And I know that you're not going to win. In the long run, you're going to lose because you're going to overlook the one person who can stop you."

"Will I?" Raphael asked teasingly. "You think you can stop me?"

"You can't kill Death, there will always be an incarnation." Billie warned him as she summoned her scythe.

"Who said anything about killing you?" Raphael asked with a laugh. "Why, if I killed you, then the next reaper to die would just assume the position. For all I know, the next reaper would be even powerful. But if I just... contain you and kill all the other reapers and save you for last..."

Before Billie could wield her scythe, Raphael snapped his fingers. Billie disappeared in a cloud of black smoke as Raphael laughed, picking up the scythe.

"Reapers are no longer a threat," Raphael said as he turned around to leave. "Let the slaughter begin."

Ben stood at the back of the altar, holding a sword in his hand with Prometheus, Mike and Sandy standing behind him. Virtually every vampire in the building had been killed with Ritchie leading the intended victims of a wedding slaughter to safety.

"Alright, Mom, it's safe," Ben told her. "You don't have to be afraid of him anymore. You can come home with me. I'm a hunter now, I can protect you."

"I'm not afraid of him, I love him," Lisa said as she held the Alpha Vampire's hand. "I want to be with him. And I want you to be apart of our family, too."

"I don't want to be a vampire, Mom," Ben said. "I kill these things for a living, just like my real Dad does. Once upon a time, we were a happy family. Come on, Mom, come home with me. We'll find a way to make this work, we can get you on a diet of animal blood or we can find a way to turn you human again. Just come home with me. I love you, Mom."

Lisa let go of the Alpha Vampire's hand and walked up to Ben, reaching for his hand. As she was about to grab it, she instead grabbed Ben by the throat, lifting him up into the air. Before his friends could help, The Alpha Vampire was on them, ramming them in three separate directions like they were bowling pins.

"Can I have a word with my son, Love?" Lisa asked as The Alpha Vampire smiled. "We'll be right outside."

"Take your time, I want to enjoy this." the Alpha Vampire smiled as he tossed Mike across the room. Lisa carried Ben through the doors before slamming him against a wall while still gripping his throat tightly.

"How DARE you," Lisa said. "I gave you life, I gave you a home and this is how you repay me? By destroying my chance to be happy?"

"He made you into a monster," Ben choked out. "He took you away from me."
