Earth's heroes are gone.

Everyone from the Winchester brothers to all of their allies, both human and angel, have been dispatched by the archangel Raphael, who is now in the possession of Jesse the Anti-Christ's body. Powered by an unending supply of angel grace, Raphael is seeking to start the new apocalypse, but is still missing a few key things...

Heaven

Six Months Later

A deafening silence filled the halls of Heaven now that the angel population had dwindled to a small handful. An ongoing war with the demons had dwindled their numbers over the years, and with no God to create any new children, the angels were now on the verge of extinction.

The Archangel Raphael, having taken possession of the Anti-Christ Jesse, had amassed enough power upon his return to try to restart the Apocalypse, and feeling he had no need for angels in his new world order, set out to exterminate them. Even the devil himself had gone on the run, abandoning his new post as leader of Heaven in order to escape Raphael's wrath.

Todreel, one of the few remaining angels , had agreed to return to Heaven before its doors were sealed, having been the one who had unwittingly aided Raphael by gathering all of the lost angel grace on Earth over the past decade with the orders to not let anyone know what he had been up to.

Todreel had taken possession of the body of a boy named Todd, who had been on the verge of death after having been hit by a truck. Todreel had chosen the body for the strength of its soul, who even after having his body mangled, had still managed to fight to survive with his last dying breath.

Currently roaming the halls of Heaven with nothing to do, Todreel had entered the personal Heaven of a mortal soul. This soul's personal paradise felt special for Todreel as he felt safe there. The setting was a hunter's roadhouse, ran by a woman named Ellen. It was a secret to the hunters who gathered there, who often visited from their own personal heavens. Thanks to the efforts of Ellen and a few hunters named Bobby, Ash, Jo and Charlie among others, had found secret tunnels to get around Heaven without the angels knowing. Only Todreel and Castiel knew of the secret roadhouse, and with Castiel having been killed by Raphael, the roadhouse's secret now lay with Todreel himself.

"Long time, no see, angel boy, " Ellen told the young angel. "I take the rumors are true that the angels are dying off?"

"There are only a dozen of us left," Todreel told her as he stood there. "And if we die, Heaven dies."

"So you're just hanging around Heaven, hoping the problem goes away?" Bobby Singer asked. "Always knew you guys were just dicks with wings."

"We have to protect what's left," Todreel said. "Once we die, there are no more angels. Raphael has become far too powerful to face. I doubt even Michael would be able to face him if he were to escape The Cage."

"You said he took possession of the Anti-Christ," Bobby told him. "Doesn't his power rely on Lucifer? Without the devil, the kid would lose most of mojo, am I right?"

"All he would have is his grace, and he has a massive supply of it thanks to me," Todreel told him. "Unless there were a way to extract it...," Todreel thought on it for a moment before an idea dawned on him. "I have to get back to Earth, see if any of my allies are still alive."

Asher Colby sat up and gently planted his bare feet on the floor a good forty-five minutes before sunrise. He pulled on his pants as he looked at the other side of the bed where last night's partner lay face down on the pillow. Asher had already forgotten the hunter's name as he gathered up his clothes before sneaking out of the motel room located in the middle of nowhere, where the two had ended up after teaming up to take down a pack of demons that were on the verge of slaughtering a schoolbus full of teenagers on their way home from a basketball game.
