FORTY SEVEN: GRANT/STEVENS FAMILY MEETING, PT. 1

ROLAND

It's been two weeks since my party and I must say I have been thinking about all that happened.

Before I get into that I have to tell y'all that the basketball team won the Championship game last weekend. Troy and Derrick played his hearts out. Those boys made me proud. All our hard work paid off. More about that later.

As I was saying, I can't stop thinking about what happened. It was crazy, but not unexpected.

Milan getting into it with Eve, Mom and Daddy.

Me getting into it with Eve, Mama and Daddy.

Jensen and Mama and Daddy.

Erik and Eve

Tricia and Eve.

Dylan, Eve, Mama, and Daddy.

And the craziest thing of all...Eve and George are getting divorced.

Eve been calling Tricia and Erik everyday crying.

She said George won't take any of her calls.

I guess his mind is really made up.

Jensen was right when he said Mama and Daddy were gonna spread the news like wild fire.

I'm not surprised though. They got some big mouths, especially Daddy. He talk too damn much. And he wonders why I don't go over there as much.

I called Erik and suggested that we all have a sit down and talk all this out.

We family for God's sake. We should be able to work our problems out.

Tricia's in the kitchen making some snacks.

Milan is in the living room watching Shadowhunters.

Garrett and Dylan are upstairs playing the game.

Miles is up in his room caking with Derrick.

I haven't even told them about the meeting yet.

I guess now's a better time than later.

RONALD: (SCREAMING) EVERYBODY COME DOWNSTAIRS.

They all ran downstairs.

MILES: WASSUP DAD.

GARRETT: UNCLE RO YOU INTERRUPTED NBA LIVE 2019.

DYLAN: YOU WERE LOSING ANYWAY.

GARRETT: I HAD TIME TO COME BACK.

DYLAN: WHATEVER.

ROLAND: TRICIA THAT INCLUDES YOU TOO.

Tricia walks into the living room.

TRICIA: YES DEAR.

ROLAND: MILAN PAUSE SHADOWHUNTERS RIGHT QUICK.

Milan paused the TV.

ROLAND: I HAVE SOMETHING IMPORTANT I WANT TO SHARE WITH YOU.

MILAN: WHAT IS DAD? YOU AREN'T SICK ARE YOU?

ROLAND: NO SON. I'M IN PERFECT HEALTH.

MILAN: THEN WHAT'S WRONG.

MILES: SPIT IT OUT DAD.

All hells about to break lose.

ROLAND: WE'RE GONNA HAVE A LITTLE FAMILY MEETING TONIGHT.
