Chapter Twenty

~Bonnie's POV ~

For the duration of the Uber ride to the airport, I am basically sat in Jay's lap. Cam had accidentally ordered us an Uber pool instead of a normal ride, meaning a few other people were in the car with us as well.

Jay moves his arm around my waist, pulling me in closer to him than I already am as I rest my head on his shoulder and dream myself away.

I think about me and Jay, and our future together; about the whole gang, and how crazy of a coincidence it is that ever started talking to them; how Matt, Cameron, Mason, Swagger, Jay and Toby all accepted me as one of their own.

*Speaking of Toby... I wonder why he was so upset before. Was it something I had said to him or-*

I am suddenly snapped out of my thoughts when the car's tires let out a terrible screech and the car stops at a stoplight.

My fingers are intertwined with Jay's as I look down at our hands resting together in his lap. He looks over and flashes me his gorgeous smile.

"What were you thinking about?", he questions, adjusting himself in his seat.

I shrug, debating whether or not I should mention Toby. "Nothing special-"

"Nothing?", Jay looks at me, giving me the look, and chuckles. "I can tell when you're trying to lie".

"Okay, fine", I say as sigh, not sure where this will lead. But he is right, *I'm a terrible liar*. "You probably noticed Toby was acting off today, yeah?".

Jay nods, prompting me to continue.

"I don't actually know what was happening, because I haven't spoken to him, nor has Cam said anything, but-", I inhale deeply. "When the three of you came to pick me up, I noticed Toby was acting slightly off but I didn't want to bring it up with him, because it seemed personal. I let it slide, but when we were getting ready to leave and you were in the bathroom, something happened".

As I pause to take a breath, I can feel Jay's grip on my hand tightening. He is *nervous*.

"Cam and Toby were whispering about something, so I got annoyed and called them out on it. They apologised and stopped but then Cam suddenly blurted it out. He said that Toby likes me-. He got really nervous, obviously. So, I tried to downplay it, telling him everyone has crushes, but the he told me-", I sigh. "He said that he fell for me before you did".

As  I finish telling Jay why Toby was acting strange, I see a flash of jealousy appear in his eyes as his warming smile turns cold

I looked at him, as I studied the jealousy in his eyes"Hey?"I whispered softly,pacing my hand on his cheek "I'm all yours Jay, remember. My heart only beats for you. Your my everything"

I kiss his  lips softly before the taxi screeches and continues towards the airport.

"I love you Bonnie" he whispers softly in my ear,making me blush just by hearing him saying the four words in my ear.

After hearing those four words I laid my head on his shoulder and smiled

"I love you too, Jay" I whispered loud enough for only him to hear me

After that we soon arrived at the airport, we get out of the taxi as Jay grabs our bags I thank the driver and say goodbye to the other passengers in the taxi.

After we  gave in our suitcases to be put into the plane we had a few hours to kill.

"Wanna grab a bite to eat?"Jay asks as he pulls me into a hug as I wrap my arms around his waist and look up into his warm brown eyes

"I could really go for some nuggets right now" I replied as point to a McDonald's that I see in the distance

"Let's get you your nuggets" he chuckles as he lets me jump on his back and starts to carry me to McDonald's

As he walking to the McDonald's with me on his  back I play with his soft hair as I do I move his fringe out of his face as he softly chuckles

"You really do like playing with my hair don't you?" He chuckles

"Maybe" I giggle as I mess up his hair
After we got my nuggets we sat down at a booth in the furthest corner of the room

My mind  kept wandering back to Toby's strange behaviour back at the Airbnb Was he jealous that  I was Jay's  and not his?

"What you thinking about?" Jay asks as he nicks one of my nuggets instantly eating it before I could rip it out of his pale hands.

I snapped out my thoughts as I hear Jay's voice"Nothing really"

"You and me both know when your hiding something,tell me what's bothering you." Jay said as he reaches across the table and grabs my hand with his greasy fingers.

" I feel bad  for not going to  see what was wrong with Toby, I feel like he's jealous that you got me instead of him" I sign as I eat a nugget

He smiles softly as he thinks for a second before speaking "He told me he liked you when I had planned to surprise you"

After that  we listened to the announcements and we quickly ran to where our plane was boarding as we were about to step foot on the plane a air hostess stops up"excuse me ma'am?"

Oh no what have I done now??

"Yes?" I said nervously,hoping they weren't gonna  search me for edibles or anything like that

"We have  two spare seats in first class ,would you like to have them?" She asks nicely

"Sure" I said as my heartbeat slows down
She nods as she lets us pass

"Oh my fucking god did  that just  happen?" Jay says  just as shocked as I was

"I guess so" I giggled as I grabbed his hand and started to walk past other passengers as I walk towards first class with the biggest smile on my face.
