~1 Year Later~

He seemed happy like nothing changed, he was chuckling and cracking jokes with Mason,singing covers again.

He was moving on.

He's better off this way.

I hid in some bushes that were in the backyard of the manor I had perfect view of the living room.

I feel bad for faking my death, but I interrupted his life all of sudden, I didn't mean to fall in love with him, we got on instantly, but I just couldn't bring myself to tell him I wasn't who I said I was.

I'm not Bonnie Dubrilera

I'm Abigail Hunter and I con people for a living I fake a persona find my target make them fall for me then I fake my death and move on to my next target

Jay was the easy target he was oblivious to what he gotten himself into,it was perfect.

Convincing the rest of them was easy,pretend to know a lot about video games look like a gamer girl and you're in.

The only thing with Jay was that falling for him wasn't a choice, I loved him and it haunts me that I failed 1/3 of my mission.

Which is now why I did my last assignment before retiring from the con community, I want to start over...

I sensed someone was about to come outside, so without hesitation I hopped the wall that separated their house from their neighbors' house

I peered over the wall to see who came out.

It was Cam,he must of heard something, he's coming right this way
I start running away I can't risk any of them seeing me or knowing I'm alive

Cam's changed since I last saw him, he has a beard now he no longer has a baby face.

Focus Abigail!

I ran behind a tree and stayed there for a few minutes before

I look behind to see cam looking both ways before turning away and walking back home. I take a deep breath before I step on a stick, hearing it crack underneath my feet I was certain he heard it so I started running again.

"Hey! You stop running I just wanna talk" I hear him shout as he runs after me.

I continue to run cutting corners to pick up speed and hopefully loose him, but he continues to run after me.

I start to slow my pace at a park.

The Park.

The park where me and Jay had our first date, memories starting to flood back to me, but I block them out before they consumed my emotions

"Please stop running! I just wanna talk."Cam said, finally catching up to me

I stopped dead in my tracks and took a deep knowing I'm about to make a big mistake

" Then talk" I said masking my voice so he hopefully doesn't recognise me.

"Why were you on my property?"He said sternly

"I was checking up on someone?" I still masked my voice, I sense him move closer to me.

"Checking up on who?"

"I was checking up on Jay" I said slowly unmasking my voice.

"How do u know who Jay is?" He asked,clearly surprised that I know Jay

"Because I was his Ex Girlfriend" I said,slowly turning around to face him

He stood there,his mouth hung open for a moment before he was able to form a word"Bonnie?!"

"Please don't freak out, I know it's a shock to see you best friend's former girlfriend alive when u witness her die"

"I have to tell Jay" he reaches into his pocket for his phone

"No. He can't know I'm alive" I panicked, smacking his phone out of his hand

"Why did you play with his feelings like that for?" He stood still analysing me

"I had to, it was my mission. Please let me explain myself" I panicked again

"Explain yourself Bonnie"

"My name isn't Bonnie Dubrilera, it's just a name I went with, I'm a con artist. I have a target that I need to make fall in love with me then I break their heart by faking my death and then I move onto my next target, but with Jay it was hard. I fell for him it wasn't my choice  but I did and I knew I couldn't so I had to fake my death" I explained

"You just can't play with people's feelings like that Bonnie or whatever your name is" he was mad as he finally knew my secret

"I know I felt bad for what I did last year that's why I  returned. My real name is Abigail Hunter, if you even wanted to know" I said handing his phone back to him " just please don't tell him I'm back"

"I won't but you gotta fix this!"he grabs his phone from me as he points his finger at me

" How the fuck am I gonna fix it,Cam? It's been a year a whole fucking year!" I raised my voice" He's moved on, he happy now if I just show up I'd probably give him a heart attack and all the memories would flood back and the memory of me  laying lifeless in his arms!"

"He hasn't moved on, he still cries himself to sleep at night, he's tried to kill himself just to see you again, luckily it wasn't successful. My point is you have to fix this" He argues

"He tried to kill himself?"I collapse to my knees. Oh god what did I do? I never meant for this to happen not Jay. "Oh god what did I do?!"

Cam had gotten down onto his knees and met my eyes with his,in sign of reassurance" We're going to fix this"

"I...I don't know if he'll forgive me for what I've done...I used him just for my job I can't believe he's not over me."

"Well you can start by coming back to the house and I'll make sure everyone is out the way I'll drag Jay down and then you'll come in, I'll force him to listen" Cam decides
