Chapter Twenty-Three

Jay's POV

After arriving at the  hospital Bonnie was rushed straight into surgery  all I could do was hope for the best and think positive

My phone began to ring, it was Cam.

"What the fuck happened??" Cam said in concern almost shouting down the phone. Almost deafening me

" When Bonnie fell in her chair from being way to excited for the Germany trip she fell back in her chair and a  sharp metal thing that was in her chair pierced through her stomach and came out near her hips." I explained, keeping my cool

"Can I speak to her please?"Cam asks,really worrying about her

"She's in surgery right now but as soon as she wakes up from the anaesthesia I give u a call"I  responded"She's gonna be okay Cam. Don't worry"

"Okay" He said,hanging up

-After surgery-

Bonnie came out of surgery looking more pale than she already was, the police had arrive to get a statement of her,for her safety, James could of broke into her apartment and placed that sharp metal object in her chair just to get revenge but we couldn't be so sure

"Are you Miss Dunbrillera's boyfriend?" One of the police officers said as they approached me

"I am" I replied,not knowing what else to say

"Could we ask you a few questions?" The other officer asked"we just think it's awfully suspicious to have a sharp metal object plunged through someone's stomach"

"Ask away" I said as I took a seat  directly in front of them

"Had there been any previous problems  she's had?"

"Yea in fact we've had to deal with her ex boyfriend a few times in the past."I replied,trying not to leave out any detail that could help us get to the bottom of this

"What kind of problems?"

"Threats and showing up after five years of splitting"

"Could you elaborate more on what you mean by that?"

"Well" I took a deep breath hoping what I was about to say would help make Bonnie safe again
" Her ex,James,had made a threats in the past he showed up at a meet and greet we where at in Melbourne and he appeared and Bonnie only saw anger when she saw to the point where she left hooked him on the side of his face,knocking him to the ground she continue to beat him until I pulled her away he ran after that"

"Thank you Mr.Creamy for informing us once Bonnie is awake we'll get her side of the story and we'll start an investigation and start a manhunt to find James and question him"

"No problems" I took a deep breath before walking into Bonnie's hospital room where  she laid unconscious.

I closed the door slowly and quietly,trying not to wake her up, I continued to walk towards the side of the hospital bed and sat down in a fabricated wooden armchair.

For a minute or more I admired all her features:all the freckles on her cheeks that  scattered aimlessly,her eyebrows remained in perfect condition as if they were just tweezed, her short eyelashes laid curved as little clumps if mascara remained on the tips of them.

Her hair laid in two bits each on both shoulders as they draped down her body,little curls laid messy at the end of her  hair. Her lips stayed red like a freshly picked rose

As I was admiring her features,her eyelids began to flinch as the did her eyes squinted together in response to the bright light that hovered above the bed

"J-J-Jay?"Her voice was weak,quiet and it was like she was drained of all source of energy.

Before I said anything I held her hand in mine and intertwined my fingers with hers"Hey beautiful"

A weak smile appeared on her face as she realised what I said

"Where am I?" She asked,looking around the room before making eye contact with me again

"Hospital"I said,clearing my throat"remember when you fell back in your chair and a sharp metal object pierced your skin and came out ur hip?"

She nods,slowly remembering what had happened

"Is the police outside?" She asks as sweat slowly drips down her face, she tightly holds on to my hand

"They outside but they won't come in if u don't want them to" I said as I make circles on the back of her hand with my now going red thumb

"I'm making your hand red I'm sorry" she apologises,loosening her grip on my hand

-time skip because why the fuck not-

We made our way back to Bonnie's apartment not long after we settled back down the was a knock on the door and Bonnie was editing a Fortnite video and I was about to jump in the shower

"Can I help you?" I said as I opened the door to see a skinny,nerdy man stand in front of me

"Is Bonnie here?"The neighbour asked,noticing I was only in a towel

"She's busy" I said sternly,tightening my grip on the door making my knuckles turn white

"Oh uh tell her to call me please I want to talk to her" the neighbor hesitates before saying

"I won't tell her because she's my girlfriend and you need to leave her the fuck alone,she wasn't interested the moment you asked her on a date" I tell him, raising my voice a little bit

He stood there shocked at what I had just said to him, before he could say a word I close the door in his face,locking the door as I  walk into the bathroom  and hoping in the shower letting the hot water fall on my face.

Bonnie's PoV

When we got back from the hospital I decided to go edit a Fortnite video that should of been posted while I was in Melbourne but things got in the way so that's just life for you.

I heard a knock on the door in the distance but chose to ignore as Jay would probably get it, I continue to subtitle everything that everyone said throughout the video and made sure everyone had  their own colour

Of course I gave Toby pink subtitles because he's an ambiguous motherfucker,he'd  sister slap me if I didn't

Note to self : never say that again

I heard the door shut  and noticed Jay  walk past me and into the bathroom with only my towel on and  noticed it said 'slaying the invisible throne" in red writing 
I just smile as he closes the bathroom door, not noticing me smiling

Heyyyyyyyy hope u enjoyed the chapter a few days ago we hit 4K and I have no idea to how the fuck I react  to it
