Changed Newtmas

Chapter 1

NEWT POV:

I was working on the farm like always. Today the box comes up again. To be honest I don't care that much. I mean he might be a halfing but if not I still have Gally. We are both halfing and just FRIENDS. I heard the box and we all ran over to it. The box opened and I didn't sense anything. He's human. I looked at the greenie. A hot human. His perfect hair, his sparkling brown eyes, and perfect body. Gally hit me upside the head. 

"Don't forget our jobs" he whispered. 

I rolled my eyes. Gally is no fun. Although he has a point. However it's not against anything for me to date what ever the greenie's name is. Gally and I opened the gate. Gally jumped down to get the greenie. 

"Day one greenie. Rise and shine" said Gally. 

He grabbed the greenie and dropped him on the grass outside the box. The greenie looked at us scared. He looked at me and I smiled. The greenie looked around more and then got up and ran. 

"OH WE GOT A RUNNER" a boy yelled. 

I watched the greenie run. He could actually be a runner. Hopefully he doesn't get stuck in the maze at night. Those grievers would tear his perfect body apart. The greenie fell and face planted. We all laughed and the greenie rolled over a few times. He slowly stood up and looked around. We all went back to work and the greenie was put in the pit. I went back to the farm and started working again. The new greenie is so hot. His hair, his eyes, his skin, his lips, they are all perfect. However if I want to date him I'll have to tell him I am half griever.

THOMAS POV:

"Hey" said a boy coming in front of the cage. 

I fell back. The man squatted in front of the cage. 

"Hey there green bean. You're not gonna run again" said the boy. 

I said nothing. I mean I tried running but I want answers to all the questions in my head. 

"Good" said the boy. 

He opened the gate and squatted in front of the cage again. 

"My name is Alby" said the boy. 

Okay I learned some one's name. That's a start. 

"Can you tell me a little bit about yourself? Who you are" Alby started. 

I tried hard to think. I can't remember anything. Not even my own name. I started to panic a little. 

"I can't remember anything. Why can't I remember anything" I said panicing. 

"It's okay" said Alby. 

I took in a sharp breath. 

"Hey relax. That's normal. It happens to us all" said Alby. 

I calmed down and relaxed. I'm still a little scared and confused but knowing that this happens to everyone makes me feel a little better. 

"You'll get your name back in a day or two. It's the one thing they let us keep" said Alby. 

They? I looked up at Alby. 

"What is this place" I asked. 

Alby smiled and held out his hand. 

"Let me show you" he said. 

I looked at his hand. I still don't fully trust this Alby guy but he might have the answers to my questions. Plus what ever is out there has got to be better than this cage. I stood up and walked up to him. I took his hand and he pulled me out of the cage. Alby closed the gate and we started walking around the glade as Alby called it. This place was massive. Alby started the tour.
