Chapter 20

THOMAS POV: 

"True but how would he feel about being the third wheel" I asked. "I'm guessing he would hate that" said Newt. We entered the kitchen. Minho looked as if he was studying us. Mostly me, Newt, and Gally. He looked at me and we stared at each other. Minho shrugged. I rolled my eyes and looked away. He might of just been looking around the room and thought I was staring at him. I got my food and sat down. I groaned as I bumped the table. "Tommy are you okay" asked Newt putting his hand on my shoulder. I put my hands over my spot and winced in pain. "Ya, I just bumped my thing against the table" I said. "I can go get pain killer" said Chuck. "NO" Newt yelled. Everyone was surprised except Gally. "Just get a bloody ice pack. Besides you don't know where the pain killer is anyway" said Newt. "Even if he did this shank can learn to man up. You hurt your thing big deal" said Gally. "Well ya, hitting yourself there hurts" said a boy. "Girls are lucky they don't have that" said another boy.

"Ya but they have periods" said a boy. "Shouldn't Thomas of already known how to not bump his thing on the table? Unless he didn't have one before" said Minho. "Ya but there is no way I could of gotten surgery or anything and you saw my thing when Newt was making sure I wasn't infected" I said. "Again, you were bit on your hand not your thing" said Minho. "Imagine if he was" said a boy. "Poor griever" said a boy. "Poor griever, what about Tommy" asked Newt. "Of course you would say that Newt" said Gally.

NEWT POV:

"What" I asked. "You and Thomas are dating right" asked Gally. Thomas and I blushed. "Well, ya" said Thomas. "I got a ice pack" said a boy. He gave the ice pack to Thomas and we all went back to eating. Minho came and sat with us. "Is Thomas running the maze tomorrow" he asked. "Ya, he will be fine" I said. "Good" said Minho. I swear it feels like he is studying me and Thomas. Minho went on to talk to Thomas about how if he feels anything then to tell him. After dinner we all hung out till everyone went to bed.

I pretended to sleep with Thomas till it was time to leave. I snuck out of the sleep area with Thomas and Gally. We made it to the woods. "Are you okay" asked Gally. "Ya why" asked Thomas. "Your presence feels off. Plus if anything happens you have to tell us" said Gally. "Ya what ever" said Thomas rolling his eyes. "Anyway back to the lesson" I said crossing my arms. I'm not having them bloody fight right now. "So what's first" asked Thomas. "You are now slightly stronger and faster then the humans" said Gally. "Okay but I'm also curious why you two were against me taking pain killer" said Thomas. "It causes night pains. It's nightmares of your worst fears" I said. "So don't take pain killer unless it's a last option" said Gally. We continued to teach Thomas everything we know. Gally also said that he can't show them the exit but you can find it with the buzzing in your head. We took Thomas to the sections and showed him what we were talking about. Thomas seemed a little dazed when we made it. "Are you sure you are okay Tommy" I asked. "Ya, I'm fine" said Thomas.  You better not be lying to us shank" said Gally.
