Chapter 10

THOMAS POV: 

"No I'm not" I said angrily. "Last night I saw you with them. They will turn you" said Ben. "No, they won't" I said. "I SAW IT" Ben yelled. I yelped as Ben squeezed my arms. He started choking me. I tried to push him off but then reached for a branch and smacked it against Ben's head knocking him off me. I started running with Ben behind me. "HEY" I yelled. Ben grabbed me and we tumbled down a hill again. I got up and kept running. "HEY, HELP" I yelled as I ran. I hope some one hears me. "HELP" I yelled again. I ran out of the woods and screamed one last time. Everyone started running up to me. "I'LL KILL YOU TRAITOR" Ben yelled tackling me. I rolled over and Ben held me down. "HEY" Newt yelled. Ben looked up and Newt smacked him with a shovel. Ben fell off me and I relaxed. "Hold him down" said Newt. A few boys held Ben down and a few made sure I was okay. "Yo what the heck happened" asked Frypan as I stood up. "He just attacked me" I said. 

"You okay" asked Chuck. I nodded. Alby came up. "No, it's not me" said Ben. "Alright lift his shirt" said Alby. "IT'S THEM" Ben yelled. A few boys lifted Ben's shirt and saw that he was stung. "He's been stung, but when" asked Gally. Newt looked at Gally and they both knew. They looked at me but I looked away. It's not my fault Ben was stung. Everyone else was confused. Alby signed. "Take him to the pit" said Alby. Ben started freaking out as the others took him away. The medjacks made sure I was okay. 

NEWT POV: 

That was a bloody pain. I started leaving and everyone went back to work. "Hey" said Gally. I stopped and he ran up to me. Gally made it and crossed his arms. "You knew Ben was stung. Didn't you" said Gally. I signed. "Tommy told me that Ben was there last night but I assumed he was dead" I said. "Why didn't you say that shank. I wouldn't of sent Thomas into the woods if I knew that Ben was stung" said Gally. "I DIDN'T KNOW BEN WAS STUNG" I yelled. Thomas screamed in the distance. I was shocked. 

"I thought that shank was okay" Gally said. I ran to the hospital and entered. "OW" Thomas yelled. "Hold still, I have to remove the infected flesh" said Jeff. I walked over to them. "Is Tommy okay" I asked. "No" said Thomas angrily. "He's fine, his arm just got infected" said Jeff. Thomas yelled again. I signed and sat next to Thomas. "Tommy look at me quick" I said. Thomas turned his head to look at me. I closed my eyes and smashed my lips on his. Thomas was still in pain but he wasn't screaming anymore. Jeff finished and wrapped up Thomas' arm. I broke the kiss and stared into Thomas eyes. He blushed. "Just don't let it get infected again" said Jeff. Thomas and I stood up and left. "You didn't say Ben was there Thomas" said Gally. "I assumed he was eaten by a griever or something" said Thomas. We went to the woods. "Well lucky for you Ben didn't tell anyone we are half griever" said Gally. "Don't bloody jinx it" I said angrily. "Well what is gonna happen to Ben? Are they gonna kill him" asked Thomas. "No, they will just banish him tonight" said Gally. Thomas said nothing and looked at the ground. "Tommy" I asked. "It's my fault. I should of said something" said Thomas.
