Changed Newtmas

Chapter 6

THOMAS POV: 

We silently followed Gally and Newt threw the woods. Ben and I had to keep stopping and hiding behind trees and bushes so Gally and Newt won't see us. I don't think they noticed us though. "You gonna tell Thomas it won't work out" asked Gally. "No, I'm not gonna lie to him" said Newt. "Oh come on Newt. Thomas is Stephen Lemlock. The son of the human president" said Gally. Ben looked at me. I shrugged. I can't remember anything so why look at me? "I can still date him and bloody come up with a better excuse then that. Unless you want me to tell him we are both half griever" said Newt. I was shocked. I blinked and remembered everything. So did Ben. Gally and Newt entered the runners base. Ben and I looked at each other. "You remember everything greenie" asked Ben. "Ya" I said. We hid as the door open. "Or you could just turn him into a halfing" said Gally. I held my breath. Newt and Gally came out of the base. "Assuming Tommy won't bloody hate me" said Newt annoyed. Tommy sounds cute. "What ever shank" said Gally. 

Ben and I followed them to the wall. They climbed it. Ben started to follow them. "Where are you going" I asked stopping him. "Following those shanks" said Ben. "But what about the grievers" I asked. "It's my job to find the exit greenie. No matter what the cost" said Ben. He started climbing. I watched him and signed. I can't let him go alone. I grabbed the vines and followed. "You could be the key Thomas" said Janson. I shook the memory off. I need to find Newt and Gally and see if Ben is still alive. 

NEWT POV: 

I was tackled. I turned over and saw Thomas on top of me. I blushed. "Tommy" I asked. Thomas bolted off me and stood. I stood up. "I'M SORRY I WAS JUST" Thomas started but a griever roared. I ran in front of Thomas and held my arms out. "HE IS WITH US" I yelled. The griever rolled his eyes and left. I turned to see Thomas. "Tommy what are you doing here" I asked. "I" Thomas started. Gally crossed his arms. "You know what this means right" asked Gally. We said nothing. Gally pushed Thomas against a wall. 

Gally used the vines to tie Thomas' wrist to the wall. "Gally what are you doing" Thomas asked. "It's so you can't run" said Gally. I crossed my arms and looked at Gally. "So what do you think we should do" I asked. "We have to turn him" said Gally. I was shocked. "What no that's not possible. Gally please, I will die" Thomas said scaredly. I can't blame him. "You wanna shut up shank" Gally asked angrily. "We can't bloody turn him" I said. "Well do you have a better idea" Gally asked looking at me. I said nothing. I don't have a idea. " Can't WCKD just erase my memory of tonight" asked Thomas. Gally turned to him. "Not unless you know the code to exit the maze" said Gally. "Gally we don't need to turn Thomas into a half griever. He wasn't stung" I said. Gally turned to me. "Newt either turn this shank or I will" said Gally. I looked into Gally's eyes. He was deadly serious. I looked at Thomas and took a deep breath. "Newt" asked Thomas. "I'm sorry Tommy" I said. I walked closer to Thomas and grew my nails a inch. "No Newt please. Don't turn me into a halfing. I'll do anything. I'm sorry but I can't become a halfing. I will die" said Thomas in tears. He took a shaky breath. "Please Newt, please" said Thomas.
