"I don't think that's a good idea-" Dwight started through the walkie talkie but I stopped him.

"No, Dwight. Tell me where the hell you are. This is Negan we are talking about. He is in danger and I am not going to just sit idly by and let something happen to him." I growled. The other end was silent for a moment before he answered.

"We are in a small town east of the Sanctuary. Lucas should know where to go, take him with you." Dwight said slowly. I nodded in understanding, even though he couldn't see me.

I handed the walkie talkie back to the Savior and he took it from me quickly.

"What's your name?" I asked and he looked up at me from his spot on the chair.

"Ian." He said as I started to grab different clothes from the dresser. He watched me carefully as I slipped my necklace over my head and on to my neck.

"Ian, I need you to get me a car ready. Make sure it has a map and provisions. I also need a rifle, a machete, and ammo if you can spare it. Make sure Lucas is ready as well. I'm leaving in 15." I said and he immediately stood up and headed for the door.

After the door shut, I immediately took off my clothes and replaced them with warmer ones. I made sure to grab an article of Negan's clothing to wear, just because it would make me feel safer and calm me down.

When I finally got dressed, I pulled a beanie on to my head and made my way towards the door. The hallway was cold but the layers of clothing I had on helped tremendously. I knew that it was only going to be worse outside. My footsteps echoed in the stairwell as I hurried towards the main floor.

Everyone's eyes were on me as I pushed my way through the double doors into the main room. It seemed like everyone turned to look at me as if I was the only person there. My hands were clammy despite the temperature. Should I tell them what was going on? I mean, they deserved to know.. but would Negan tell them? Probably not.

The crowd of people parted for me as I walked through, almost as if I was of the highest importance. I guess I kind of was right now.

Lucas was leaning against a car as I entered the garage. He had a cigarette lit between his lips and his hands were on a rifle. Ian was standing close by with a couple other Saviors, whom I did not know the names of. As usual.

"Your weapons are in the passenger seat. I'll drive, I know where to go." Lucas said as he flicked his cigarette to the ground and stepped on it.

"Who is in charge after me?" I asked as I stood in front of Lucas. His eyes flickered to Ian and then back to me.

"I am." An all too familiar southern voice chimed in from behind me. I turned around to see Eugene standing awkwardly with his hands in his pockets. Oh, great.

I eyed him for a second, wondering if I could trust him. Although, wasn't I just as bad as him? He was on the other side before, too. Well, at least he was.

"Okay. Let's go." I said to Lucas as I walked around to the passenger door. When I opened it, I noticed a rifle and machete sitting neatly in the seat. I picked the weapons up, slipped into the car, and sat them in my lap.

The driver's side door shut as Lucas settled into the seat next to me. The car started up quickly and I made sure to turn on the heat as much as it would go.

All of today's events had totally slipped my mind. The only thing that I cared about at the moment was finding Negan. He was my top priority.

According to Lucas, we weren't very far from the convoy of Saviors. All of them were stopped in the town, waiting for orders from Simon on whether or not to look for Negan or stay put. If it was up to me, I would have had every single able-bodied person looking for him as soon as possible. But Simon was selfish. He didn't want Negan to be found. It was so obvious.
