Chapter thirty three - Just Like That
*Faith pov*
Josh and I watched TV with Sherrie and Hope for a while and talked and flipped through channels. Nothing good was on, we came across a couple comedies, dramas... We ended up watching How I Met Your Mother which was totally fine with me.
It's eleven something now and Sherrie turned off the TV after a discussion about how we are all tired.
"Josh hun, I made you a bed downstairs earlier and it's all ready for you." Sherrie told us as she shut the light off in the kitchen and Hope went upstairs.
"Oh, um, Josh was going to sleep in my bed tonight." Sherrie gave me this small look, thinking that that would totally not happen.
"I think the best thing would be for Josh to sleep downstairs tonight." I didn't protest because I knew she wouldn't let me.
"Alright, that's fine." She gave us a smile as she started walking upstairs.
"Goodnight Josh."
"Goodnight, thank you for letting me stay." He said
"Oh, no worries." She vanished upstairs.
"I tried." I told Josh and he chuckled.
"It's ok, I need my stuff from upstairs though." I nodded and took Josh upstairs. He took his bag and collected his clothes and all his other things around my room. He gave me a kiss. "I'll see you I'm the morning, ok?" I smiled.
"Ok." He kissed me again before leaving my room. I shut the door a sighed. I was actually looking foreword to spending another night with Josh. I tried to shrug it off. I turned off the lights and curled into bed.

I've been tossing and turning for hour and I just can not sleep. I've dosed off a couple times but I can't fall asleep. I sat up and groaned, scratching at my arm again. I made myself stop and take a deep breath. I sat there for at least ten minutes before getting up and going downstairs. I tiptoed down the basement stairs to see if Josh was awake or not. Of course he was. He was sitting on the couch along with a pillow and blankets laying beside him. He was listening to music and on his phone.
He saw me coming down the stairs and smiled, taking out an earbud.
"Couldn't sleep?" He asked. I plunked myself beside him and rested my head on the pillow and put my feet on his lap.
"Yup." He chuckled. "Whatcha' doing?"
"Listening to the good ol' Beatles and playing bubble shooter." I smiled.
"What's your high score?"
"I just got this game and I suck horribly." I laughed and stared at the ceiling. Josh put his phone on the coffee table and crawled on top of me, resting his head on my chest and wrapping one of his arms under me. He took a deep breath and relaxed. I ran my fingers through his hair. "I missed you," He told me. "So much. I don't even know why I left. It just happened. I feel so bad. I shouldn't have left after everything you've been through." I twirled my fingers in his hair. "Every day I wanted to come back but I was scared."
"Well, you're back so it's ok." Josh groaned, closing his eyes.
"I love you."
"I love you too." I told him with a smile. It was silent for a moment and it was amazing, but I was thinking about things. "Remember when we went to the Green Day concert?" I said, thinking about the memory. Josh chuckled.
