You and Dave show up to the scene late. This time the blue and green guys didn't make as much of a commotion. You were walking through the building just incase they were still here.
You heard a noise. You ready yourself and run around the corner. You see a lady in a ball dry tears on her face.
".. Ma'am" you said slowly coming over. She flinched she looked scared.
" don't hurt me!" she yelled shaking
"I'm not im here to help you out of here" you said coming over
" can I ask what happened here" you asked picking her up slowly
"....... It happened really fast but 2 guys came in. One was names 53 he had blue on their mask and the other I had a run in with was 48 he had green" she said
" wait you had a run in with the green one? What happened" you asked confused on why the hell she still alive.
The blue one 53 normally is the one to have survivors. They are normally traumatized or brain dead but they are still alive. 48 doesn't leave anyone alive he always kills. What made him not kill her.
" he.... Well.... He came over and stood over me...... And then it felt like I was trapped in a bubble that was slowly shrinking but before the pain got to great he suddenly stopped......it seemed like even he was confused on why he stopped but then 53 came and they left after get papers " she said
"...... I'm not going to lie you are the first surviving victim of the 48 guy. Do you mind if we ask you questions after this " you asked
"..... Sure... Can it be later? " she asked
" yeah " you added taking her out of the building to the paramedics.

" and it's a big deal that he let someone live? Maybe he is realizing he is killing innocent people " you said
" or... What if he is getting weaker? What if... They both are. The drug maybe they need more of it to stay strong and that's why they are trying to get their hands on it. " dirk said pacing
" so they are a bunch of junkies? " you asked
" possibly maybe their body can't survive without some and it's dying " he added
" it... It's a possibility " you said
" what's the evidence behind this " you added
" she said 48 seemed surprised he stopped trying to kill her" dirk said
"....... It is a stretch but it's possible" you said not fully convinced
" this is good if we can keep them on the run long enough we may be able to beat them when they are weak" dirk said seeming like he got the best plan
" what if they kill us before that time" you added
" they won't" he finished
" now....." he was in the middle of saying when dirks phone Bings
"oh" he said reading it
"what" you asked
" Jake wants me to come to him" he said going to go get properly dressed
