My heart was always sunflower yellow when you held my hand, and you made me so damn warm that I wasn't ashamed to call myself a man.
And we joked and chuckled bout' someday forming a band.

"Do you know how to tell the difference in between normal soda and diet soda?" Jimin chatters, sitting in the basket of a metal shopping cart.
When they had asked the blonde lady at the front about getting a special children's car, she declined because 'he's a grown man, can't he use his legs?'
So they reluctantly showed to her how he can't by setting him up on his legs and the boy almost cracking his head open on the floor. But it was worth it, because Jimin got a big shopping cart all to himself and the ability to sit between bags of squishy clothing
"I don't know Jimin, how do you tell?" Taehyung grins almost creepily, clearly one of his personalities being the scarily caring type.
"Because is you touch a normal soda, it sticky." Jimin says proudly, ignoring the weird looks people are giving him as they roll him by. "But because diet sodas dont actually have any real sugar, they aren't sticky."
"I'm not sure if that's a thing to be proud of knowing but ok." Yoongi says unenthusiastically as he taps the screen of his phone repeatedly, before clearly losing something because he scoffs and shuts the eyeball torture device off, stuffing it into his pocket. He resorts to looking at Jimin, who's boredly glaring at the men's clothing section they're looking over.
Namjoon picks a pair of joggers off the shelf. "Jimin, you haven't seen anything you like?"
The ravenette shrugs, leaning back against the front grid of the cart and tilting his head back. "I'm picky about my clothing, sorry."
Namjoon and Taehyung brush it off as they go to the other side of the section to look at shirts, Yoongi however, pretending to look at jeans but really eyeing Jimin. The boy's head is turned to the side away from Yoongi, but the older can feel the miserable and almost longing aura coming from the boy's downcast mood.
He seems to be staring off, looking somewhere sadly. There wasn't really anything outside the window of the shop, except for Simon's and Garage- oh.
"Minnie?" Yoongi break the boy out of his trance, Jimin's head snapping up almost hard enough to break his neck, a rosy tint on the tips of his ears and nose. "I don't really like the stuff here, I'll tell the guy's and we can head out somewhere better."
Jimin nods, drifting off into the land of thought.
You see, when Jimin was in highschool, he developed more of an interest in girl's clothes. They just looked cuter, warmer, and more colourful than all the sports t-shirts and converse that other boy's his age would wear. He would secretly diet and work out as well, for his body to look more masculine and like a boy should. Not chubby, and soft. Jimin would try so damn hard to fit in, clad in 'boyish' colours, muscle shirts and wearing a red SnapBack backwards everyday and keeping his hair asymmetrical and black. He would avoid doing anything girly, showing false disgust when anyone would speak of fashion or bright colours. He tried so hard to be how he was supposed to, that it tainted his childhood.
Later in freshman year, every day after school he'd sneak off into the flower gardens, sporting either a 'bad boy' leather jacket or a champion hoodie. Something of the sorts.
No one knew he went there, he'd just go sit in the back and take a big baby blue hoodie out of his bag. He'd put it on over his undershirt, and stuff his SnapBack and other outfit into his bag. All he'd do there is wait and read for about thirty minutes, before setting down his book at exactly five pm and watch the entrance of the garden closely.
Every day at exactly five pm, there would be another boy.
He was always in a pastel turtleneck, and Jimin swore that he had never seen him in school and just guessed that he lived nearby. His hair was sunflower yellow, brighter than any damn colour he had ever seen in his cursed life. All he'd do was sit in the centre of the garden on the cobble stone bricks, cheekbones glazed with a shiny pink highlighter that reflected the sun as if he were emitting light himself. He'd write something in a worn down moleskin journal, and Jimin could never see his eyes underneath his long wavy bangs.
One day as he was watching the boy, he noticed something about him. He'd always wear long sleeved shirts, no matter what the weather. And one day, Jimin decided to approach the unexpected yellow boy.
All he did was silently place his bag across from the kid, who was a lot older than he thought, maybe a few years older than him. And he plopped down in front of him. Jimin remembers vividly how the boy's head snapped up, a rosy tint on the tips of his ears and nose. He was wearing gold framed circular glasses, and his eyes were like black holes. He resembled a kitten, soft eyebrows furrowed, one of the arches sliced in half twice in an attempt to be angsty. He had yellow glittery eyeshadow that matched his hair, and Jimin swore he looked familiar.
The boy jumped as if he recognized Jimin, eyes widening and lips parting. And with that expression Jimin recognizes who it was.
"Yoon.. gi?"
The grunge kid that he and Namjoon were friends with and would talk about how manly there were with, was yellow boy? The kid who would only wear black and skip classes, who would stuff all his hair into a beanie despite the no hats rule? The boy with angsty lyric tattoos and an angry look on his face all the time?
"Jiminie- what are you doing here?" Yoongi asked, seeming startled as he rushed to set down his journal and lift his hood up.
"Hyung! I-I just thought I would sit over there to.. uh.. why are YOU here?" Jimin changes the subject, not aware of how he could make up an excuse for wanting to smell the pretty flowers and enjoys the atmosphere in a 'masculine way.'
"I.." Yoongi's eyes cast down shyly, hands sneaking into the holes of his sweatered arms, making sweater paws. "I... just.."
Yoongi sighs, bringing his hood back down to reveal his yellow hair that's shining ethereally in the fast approaching sunset. "I come here to let go, ok? To write songs, and be myself. Sorry for being a disappointment and not who you thought I was."
Jimin's eyes almost shed tears, and all he can really do is launch himself into Yoongi's arms and stick his face into crook in the boy's shoulder. The older only just then realized the lilac purple hoodie the ravenette was wearing, and how his hair was fluffier and not flat under a fire truck red SnapBack.
"I.." Yoongi sniffles, understanding the reason Jimin was there as well. "I.. like your hoodie."
Jimin giggles. And Yoongi promises to himself that he wants to hear that goddamn giggle for the rest of his life. "It's my favourite colour."
"Jiminie!" Yoongi hollers, Jimin breaking out of his daydream to make eye contact with the lilac purple haired male. He doesn't know why the older is still wearing so much black, and he guesses that he never let go of his fake persona and let it get too far. Jimin can't blame him, he did the same.
"Are we going to another store?" Jimin asks, sitting up in the cart and readjusting his navy blue hoodie so it couldn't fall off his shoulder.
"Let's go to a store for fucking teenage girls." Yoongi says happily, hands slashing down on the edge of the younger's cart, making him jump. "And get some goddamn pastel clothes because I want that again. And yellow. I love yellow."
Jimin snorts, nodding, and before he knows it he's being pushed aggressively out the store going in the direction of oversized (for him) turtle necks and fluffy jackets.
And though the two may have mental disorders, that doesn't mean they can't spend at least a couple measly moments being themselves.

A/N
Fluff mixed with angst is my favourite
Also if y'all didn't know, one of the reasons I wanted to make this story, Is because there's exactly seven members of bts, and I have exactly seven mental disorders.
And that's pretty shit so I use this book as a coping mechanism (?) lol
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR 2K READS AHHH
