I'm tired of wanting everything to be perfect,
It doesn't have to be. I'll just be me.

"I missed you hyung." Jimin speaks up as Yoongi pan seers some tofu. In his hands is a cup of warm almond milk, the dew from the glass moistening his palms as he stares at the cream coloured liquid inside. The sound of the tofu on the pan is calming yet terrifying.

"I know." Yoongi replies, slight sadness in his soft voice. He turns around for a few seconds and Jimin admired how his spotless skin is the same colour as the untouched drink in his hands, lilac hair complementing his deep brown eyes, with a little disappointment hanging in them.

"You we're gone for so long." Jimin mumbles, listening at the small sounds as his boyfriend cooks. Tofu sliding off the pan, bell peppers being cut through, the microwave beeping. Jimin swings his legs back and forth on the stool, his bare feet tapping the wood of the kitchen island occasionally.

"I wasn't gone." Yoongi says gently, arranging everything on the plate and pouring the sauce over as he continues, bangs slipping into his eyes slightly. "I think our worlds were just.. apart, for a little while"

Jimin smiles at the older, who doesn't smile back, but Jimin doesn't mind because he'd rather the other not force it. A plate of curry rice with tofu and salad is slid in front of him. Yoongi looks at the ravenette adoringly as he moves his almond milk to the right diagonal of the plate as usual. Of course, the younger is nervous, and the voice in his head is yelling at him. "Hyung." Jimin falls in a small voice.

The older nods curtly and sits beside the younger, muttering a sweet and assuring, "take your time, you don't have to rush at all, we aren't in a hurry." The lilac haired male rubs circles in Jimin's back, who decides to make small talk to take his mind off his conflicting thoughts.

"Yoongi hyung, you know the keyboard in your room? You haven't used it since you wrote your last song." Jimin leans in to the older's touch, watching his eyes to make sure he's not picking at old wounds. Yoongi hums.

"With the whole scandal, I haven't written or played any music in a while." He mumbles. Jimin nods, Yoongi looking into his eyes and feeling a soft pillow like warmth in his chest. "I've been wanting to get our whole, kinda, group together and maybe write a song together. With you singing of course."

Jimin blushes, his ears turning red, and feels warm inside as he catches a genuine gummy smile spreading across his lover's soft features. He adores the older, everything he does makes him feel an urge to kiss the man. "Shut up Yoongi."

"Excuse me? Respect your elders." Yoongi mocks, leaning in to give Jimin an angry yet playful glare. To no avail, as Jimin's gaze rests upon his lips.

Jimin whines. "Come on, kiss me you fool."

Yoongi complies, sweetly pressing his lips against the pink cheeked boy. Jimin's heart curls up in warmth as the older's strawberry kiss floods a happy feeling through his whole being. It's not intense, just their lips softly pressed together with slight movement, lasting a few seconds that could feel like years under a starry sky. They break apart, the kitchen not being the most romantic place, but their bond remaining just as strong.

"I lub u." Yoongi slurs as he hooks his arm around the younger's shoulder, comfort enveloping the two. "I'm glad we met again."
