And just like that, his world flipped upside down

-

"She's... alive?"

Jungkook nods, looking at Seokjin who's thumb is gliding gently against the strings of Namjoon's spare guitar. The oak wood on the side is splattered with tears, that slipped out of the eldest's eyes. He takes in a quick breath.

"Do you have any idea where the note and guitar may be?" Jungkook asks, taking the instrument out of Seokjin's arm and setting it down gently on the dirtied taupe carpet. He wipes the pinkette's tears away with his thumbs, before resting his hands on his shoulders, gently caressing the cotton material of the older's sweatshirt.

"I-I think I do." Seokjin mumbles, looking up to lock eyes with the blonde, before bursting out into choked sobs once again. Embarrassment reaches his ears, painting his face with a soft vermillion. Jungkook doesn't know what to do, so he sits beside the older and side hugs him. Seokjin calms down, and continues. "It's a field near our house, there's a tree in the centre, where we b-built a tree house. We used to go there all the time to escape together. I-I miss her so much.. d-damnit."

"Jin hyung?" Jungkook begs for the older to look at him. He complies. "Everything will be alright. It will get better. And once we find her, she can be a part of your future. We won't be your only family anymore hyung."

Seokjin pulls the blonde into a warm hug, thankful for the comforting and meaningful words spoken gently to him. He still can't believe it. His sister is still alive. He can hug her again, laugh with her again, make banana pancakes on a Sunday morning and laughing at how the first time they tried they failed miserably. He can see her again.

Jungkook separates the hug, softly squeezing the man's shoulders. "I'll get the guys. We'll leave to go there in the morning okay? Try to get some sleep hyung. I'll get your medication, Namjoon, and tea for you right away."

Jin nods. As the youngest leaves, he thinks, if the future can actually come someday.. it can be better.

Jimin's feet slide gently across the floor of the dance studio, noted beating through his core as he slides through the vocals of the song coming from his earbuds. Namjoon rented a small studio after hearing from both the ravenette and Hoseok that they have a passion for dancing, immediately wanting to make them feel as comfortable as possible. And it surely helped, as Jimin flows through his dance to the soft clicks of Cavetown's Slipping Lately. He hums the tune, turning around and just following his instincts. Sentiments and energy flow out of the tips of his fingers, feeling like electricity streaming through his veins.

The song ends and Jimin opens his eyes, looking into the mirror at his reflection. His heart starts beating quickly. He looks so different. He takes a few steps forward and looks at himself. His form still naturally smaller, yet now his skin is full of colour instead of drained pale, his hair not falling out of his scalp. His eyes carry more light, more hope, or maybe that's just because of the tears that glaze the glittering orbs.

"Jimin-ah!" Taehyung walks into the studio, Jimin taking out his earbuds and wiping the tears out of his eyes quickly. He turns to look over at the younger, who has a big boxy smile on his face and a bag in his hand. "I got donutssssss!"

"You're a saviour of my gosh." Jimin gasps running to hug the now short haired boy. "What's with the sudden visit?"

"I was in need of a non chaotic presence." Taehyung jokes, pointing at his head. Jimin laughs, knowing the chaotic neutral tendencies of the alters. The two sit against the mirror, betting on donuts, before starting to talk a bit more.

Taehyung bites in the donut and moans loudly, earning a slap in the arm from the older. Jimin giggles. "So got any news to humour me?"

Taehyung hums in realization. "Oh yeah, Seokjin's sister is alive and we're going to find her tomorrow morni-"

"HWHATF?" Jimin yells through a bite of his glazed donut, eyes widening.

"Yeah, turns out her death was a setup for her to get out of her situation or something." Taehyung nods, and the studio door opens again at the end of the sentence.

Yoongi and Hoseok walk in, hand in hand. "What's up gays." Yoongi pulls the brunette over to the mirror where the others are, plopping down next to Jimin and stealing a bite from his donut.

"Hyung!" Jimin whines.

The four end up sitting there talking about half important, half non important things. It's enjoyable, and Hoseok finds immense comfort in finally having friends. After thinking he needed only himself for a long time, having the three dorks next to him laughing about Oddish being a 'weed pokémon' was a strike of realization that maybe being alone isn't the best thing.

A/N

This is a trash filler chapter cause I needed some time and character development before it goes dOWN again. Hope y'all enjoyed anyway.

Also Taekook were wilding on vlive did y'all see that? We discovered
-they have the same underwear brand
