Sherwin's point of View

Word Count: 1056 words

(This is a time skip after the day Diana and Sherwin met, just to let you guys know ^v^)

After that, we began to talk more frequently, eat lunch together, all the good stuff. I'm just surprised that she would become so comfortable with me, in such a short amount of time.

Lunch came around, and I began order my meal. I grabbed my tray of food, and looked for a table to sit at. All the tables were nearly overflowing with kids, and to my liking, I'd rather not be surrounded by so many people. Eventually, I saw one table that had caught my eye. Luckily, it had very few people sitting there. I walked towards the table, and sat down, a bit distant from the other people that sat there with me. Anticipating Diana, I began to nibble at my pizza, which didn't look very appetizing. Hell, it looked like dough, with dog food slapped onto it. Luckily, it tasted better than it looked. I sipped at my milk until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Diana holding her tray of food.
"Oh, your majesty, I didn't mean to intrude on your royal meal" she said, talking with a fake british-like accent.
"Oh, shut up." I replied, snickering a bit. She sat down next to me, and she began to burst once again about her new favorite movie series.
After a while of talking with each other, and eating our lunch. She interrupted herself. With food in her mouth, she spoke in a slightly muffled voice, "You hafen't met my brover, haf you?" I shook my head, and began imitating her. "No, I hafent met ur brover. I vould wike to meet him, dough." She laughed a bit as she swallowed her small chewed up pieces of her crust. "Huh. I could've sworn I've introduced you to him. Oh well, if you want, I can set something up after school, so both of you can meet each other! Well, that is, if you want to."
I admitted to myself, I was pretty nervous. I knew for a fact I wasn't a very social person, and well, I have my reasons. I would think he may have a bad impression on me. I mean, look at me. On the other hand, Diana accepted me pretty well. Besides I wanted to make her happy; I can't let her down. The benefits of my friends matter to me more than my own benefits. "Uh, yeah sure. I guess." At that moment, our tables were being dismissed. I stood up and threw away the remaining bits of my lunch, and walked out the door of the cafeteria, with Diana trailing behind me. The door led us to the quad, and we talked a bit more, until the bell rang for us to go to our next classes.
The bell rang after a few minutes, and I waved a goodbye to Diana, who faded away behind the large cloud of people.

~Time Skip cuz I'm hella lazy~

Eventually, the school bells rang, signaling the end of the day. I was the second to last one to leave the room, being that almost all of my belongings were scattered all over my desk. I went to my locker, and began packing all of my notebooks and binders into my bag. I was just about to leave the school, and then I remembered:
I had to meet Diana after school today.
I began to breathe more quickly, and I didn't realize it until I began walking closer towards the small tree Diana was sitting by, which was right around the front of the school.

"Just shut up and don't make a fool out of yourself," I thought. Just take in a deep breath, and everything will be over soon."

I soon found myself in front of Diana, and a boy sitting down next to her, who was reading a book. I'm assuming that's her brother. It wasn't until I tapped her shoulder that I was noticed. She looked up, and stood on her feet, welcoming me with a warm smile. I smiled back, slightly looking behind her, gazing at the boy. I couldn't really make much of his facial features, being that his nose was stuck in his book. "Is that your brother?" I asked. She saw the boy on the ground, that's for sure. She was looking directly at him. She whirled her body back around to me once again, holding up a finger, as if she was saying, "Gimme a second". She snuck behind the tree, reaching her hands out towards the boy's shoulders. He seemed so caught up in his book, that he didn't even notice the loud noises she made while walking on the loud, crunching grass. She grabbed onto his shoulders rather quickly, which made the boy jump, and drop his book onto the ground.
"WAKE UP YA BIG DORK!"
She then began shaking him violently back and fourth. After about 7 seconds of her laughing and shaking him, she stopped, rolling around on the ground giggling. His head was turned toward her, so I couldn't really see what he looked like.
He rubbed his eyes a little, shaking his head back and fourth, rather slowly. He probably must've been a little dizzy after all of that shaking.
After he was finished wiping his eyes, he continued to watch Diana roll across the rough patch of grass, laughing out of control. Heck, I was about to giggle a bit myself from just me watching her.
"HHHAHAH...YOU-...HAHA, SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE!" she laughed.
"For gods sake Diana, grow up, will you?"
She calmed down a bit.
"Come oooooonnnnn, you're sssssmmmiiillliiiinnngggg!" she teased.
"I know, and I hate it," he replied.
He then turned his head around, revealing a small smile on his face, and good god...
He was gorgeous. His shiny brown hair was combed back to perfection. His eyes were like crystals that sparkled in the light of day. His smile...
Well, I could just go on and on. He was just...perfect.
His eyes stared straight into mine, and he shot me a smile. He stood up, holding out a hand for me to shake. "Hello! I'm Jonathan. What's your name?"
I was stuck. I couldn't say anything. I felt my face go warm...

wAIT-
Am I...
...
Am I blushing?
