So, this chapter is going to be calling back to an old story I wrote that is long gone now. If you somehow know what it is, then don't be afraid to point it out. I've decided that I'm going to continue connecting that story it this and eventually write about it again after this is finished, so you can kind of understand who a big character in Summer's life was.

And now, your featured presentation.

Y/n POV

The day went on. The tournament continued as planned.

I had a discussion with Ozpin about hearing my mother, or at least what was left of her. I also told him that my "infection" was spreading faster everyday, and I could turn any moment.

He told me he'd keep an eye on me. He also told me that I should refrain from coming in contact with Grimm, since the whole episode in Vale when the Grimm managed to get in. During the attack, I wasn't focused enough because the disease was taking over me slowly, in fact, it got so bad that some of the Grimm ignored me.

Right now, I was with Ruby, Yang, and Uncle Qrow in our dorm. Ruby and our Uncle played a fighting game. Ruby was losing terribly. Yang and I sat on opposite beds, watching the two sitting on the floor playing games.

I sat and drew in my art book a little. Yang watched me wearily, as if I'd suddenly die just by drawing in here.

(Yay, more of my art! Dude, I had to help with half of this. Shut up! I want whatever credit I can get for drawing, also, thanks for the lessons, Ill. No prob.)

I was starting to color my illustrations a bit more. I felt that they were a bit edgy, but they sure as Hell looked cool.

"Hey kid, you're gonna give us a heart attack if you finish that." Uncle Qrow said to me. He had finally finished off Ruby in the game and was giving me a small look of concern.

"Why? It's just a drawing. What harm can there be?" I asked.

"Every time you finish something in that book, something bad happens." He pointed out, "You're gonna make us superstitious eventually."

I flipped the book closed reluctantly, "Fine, but only to make you guys feel better." I tossed the book to the side with the pencils still in it.

Yang had plopped down next to our Uncle, challenging him to a game. Ruby hoped next me, giving me a quick hug then went back to talking to our Uncle. She asked him to tell a story. Naturally, I already knew how the story ended, mainly because I grew up with the drunk bastard, but he was the closest thing I had to a loving father figure.

I got off the bed and walked to the bookshelf on the other side of the room. I scanned over the various books, some of them I could tell were Blake's... for no reason in particular.
