LESEDI POV

I awakened with a start. I have never felt so much fear close to me and yet so much hatred beyond. "Steven?"

He jumped out of bed. "Mama?" When I nodded, he started getting dressed.

Heimdall came in without knocking.

"I know. TIme to go." I gave Brooklyn a sedative and put him in a small bag.

"Thor is close."

"Not a moment too soon," I said quickly. "Have you started the evacuation?"

"Yes, milady."

Steven was in Asgardian clothes, but now sported armor, a gift from his grandfather on his last birthday. Also made of uru, the front piece had a star in front with the symbol of Asgard and he had his shield on his back, one that looked like his father's. He was ready. I gave the bag to Steven, who gave a nod of understanding. I would protect him and he'd protect Brooklyn, I hoped.

"Steven--"

"What?"

"Never mind." I guess Loki must have been afraid of Ragnarok deep down. He showed Steven where the hidden caves were, and had battle gear made for him. I had mine, too, but I had been in training with the Warriors Three and Heimdall, on...Odin's-or was it Loki's-orders...I closed my eyes. He may have not been the greatest king, but he did everything he could for us.

Heimdall took us out, and the caves were empty. We were last to go as I requested.

"Why did you want to be last?" Heimdall asked.

"Erik and Ingemar can lead them, I'm just bringing up the rear." We walked out of the back of the cave and I brought down rock from the sides to close the way we came out. Steven threw his shield loosening the river that flowed from the top,  and even more came down along with the forking water. He leapt to catch his shield. I gave him a look and he shrugged.

The Bifrost loomed in the distance, but so much terrain lay before us.  I leapt in the air, letting my winds carry me, and with earth, constructed a bridge to the Bifrost. I slightly froze it to make sure it stayed solid. I glided down to Heimdall and took him to the front. "GO!"

"Are we going to the front?" Steven asked.

"No, we are bringing up the rear," I answered. There was opposition ahead, I could smell it. "I doubt anything can sneak up on us, love."

He smiled at me. This was a game to him. I should have sent him ahead, but in my heart of hearts I knew nothing could protect him better than me.

We'd finally reached the Bifrost, but I smelled something...something familiar that I had not smelled in years. "No..."

Ahead I saw Hela's men, headed by Skurge, and to my upset, Fenrir.

"HEIMDALL!" Skurge bellowed, and extended his hand. "The sword!"

The fight was definitely on. A ship was shooting at Fenrir from above. At first we were moving toward the men, but when Fenrir came forward, we had to retreat. I didn't know if I could talk to him. His eyes were a different color that made me feel he wasn't himself. His eyes were blue on Jotunheim, his fur covered in snow, but now he was his natural black color with eyes of green.

Something fell from the sky, and everything stopped. It looked like a man, but what could a man do? It wasn't Thor. Fenrir stopped to smell it and charged forward. I was about to freeze him-I had no choice-when something grabbed his tail and pulled him back. I saw a big green man fighting him. Wait a minute--is that the Hulk? How did he get here?

I looked up to see Thor on the balcony with Hela. It didn't look good. I held Steven by the hand began backing up.

Completely off guard at that development, the ship that was shooting crash landed on the bridge. Hela's men were coming from behind now!

Suddenly Loki appears from the mist. "Your savior is here!" A large ship docked on the side of the Bifrost Bridge. "Miss me?" He glanced at me and looked around. "Everyone on that ship now!" He moved through the crowd to help fight and give the people time. "Sedi? Get everyone on board, and wait for me on the ship."

Suddenly there was a cry of pain from above. Hela stabbed Thor.

"NO!" I cried.

Loki held my hands as I was about to rise from the bridge to hopefully try to save him. "Your uncle is the God of Thunder. I will see to this. Take care of the people. Take care of Asgard."

I nodded. "Come, Steven-"

Suddenly blinding lightning bolts struck the balcony.

"See?" Loki smiled.

I started getting people on board. Much to my surprise, Steven was hitting attackers with his shield from a distance.  Hulk was fighting Fenrir. The woman dressed like a Valkyrie was fighting alongside Loki.

"Time to go."

I gasped, startled by Heimdall.  Everyone was on board. Loki said to wait for him. What do I do?
