Elqenna

Raven did not leave the house on the following days. He was up again with taking my attention from his brother. Gladly, another reinforcement came; Yohan just arrived back home. Plus, I got a chance to video call with Raphie this morning. She assured that she and the baby were fine.

"Elqenna."Raven stunted with a beautiful rose bud in his hand. "Can we talk please? Calmly?"

"Everything's ready, Frappie. Tara na,"kalmadong sabi ni Mavvy na nagkukunwaring hindi nakita ang kapatid niya. He intended to annoy him afterwards by taking the flower from him and carefully tucked it behind my ear. "It would be more beautiful if it's from me. But don't worry, baby. I'll buy you a flower farm,"patuloy na pang-aasar niyang nagpatawa sa'kin.

Ang di ko inaasahan ay ang kasunod na ginawa ni Raven. Hinila niya si Mavvy at sinuntok; natamaan siya sa mukha at bago pa siya makaganti, pumagitna na ako.

"Stop it, Raven! What's that for huh?" I blared at him in so much anger. He really won't stop making me hate him.

"That's for flirting with you!"

"Why do you care? Raven, I am no longer yours,"pagtatapang-tapangan ko kahit na ang totoo ay gusto ko ng umiyak. "Naaalala mo na ba? Iniwan mo 'ko para sa babae mo."

"Elqenna, when will you quit?! You are just saying that to find excuse about your affair with that jerk! Stay away from him."

Nagpumiglas si Maverick para makalapit sa kuya niya. I was just so grateful that Yohan was there to stop him.

"No. You stay away from me!" I said after slapping him on the cheek.

Hindi natuloy ang pinlano naming lakad. We were supposed to head out for our camping para malayo sana kay Raven. Pero heto ngayon, dinadampian ko ng icepack ang pasa sa mukha ni Mavvy.

"Tama na. Okay na ako,"awat niya nang hindi nakatingin sa'kin.

"Maverick, galit ka ba sa'kin?"

He answered me with his silence. With him looking at the opposite direction from me, I know he intends to keep his silence.

"Maverick, kinakausap kita!" naiinis na singhal ko sa kanya.

"Ang sakit ng ginawa mo, Blair! Ako 'yong dehado, ako 'yong nasaktan tapos siya 'yong kinampihan mo!"

"Wala akong kinakampihan! You saw what I did!"

"Tsk. Ang lakas ng tama mo sa gago na 'yon e. Mas lalo lang akong nanggigigil na bugbogin siya," mahinang utal niya sabay kuyom ng kanyang kamao.

"Mavvy, 'wag ka ngang magsalita ng ganyan! Ayaw kong mag-away kayo kaya inawat ko kayo. Isipin mo naman ako."He looked at me when I said the last line. "Ano'ng sasabihin ni tita kung nag-aaway kayong dalawa dahil sa isang babae? Sana ibang babae, e ako 'to Mavvy e."

"Does it matter? Blair, Raven deserves a broken face!"

Napabuntong-hininga na lamang ako sa katigasan ng ulo niya. I don't want to put the flame ablaze so I lie low.

"Maybe he does but then Mavvy, you don't," I calmly stated as I tried pressing gently the icepack on his bruise again. But he did not let me. He pulled himself away. "So please, don't be hard on me now and let me treat your bruise."

He glared at me and pulled his face away from my reach again when I again tried to tend to his bruised face.

"Mavvy,"I uttered, sounding as sweet as possible.

"Alam mo kung paano gumaling agad 'yan?"tanong niya na pinagtuonan ko naman ng pansin.

"Paano?"
