Dali-dali akong nanghilamos at nagtoothbrush.d Diretso akong bumaba pagkatapos ng morning ritual ko upang hanapin si Raven. Hindi pwedeng ma-misinterpret niya ang nakita niya.

"Oh, Dolly. Good morning! Buti nandito kanna, ipapaakyat ka na sana ni tita para gisingin e,"sabi ni Yohan nang magkasalubong kami. "Kakain na tayo."

"Okay. Thanks."

Kung gaano kalapad ang ngiti ni tita ng pumasok ako sa dining area, gano'n din kadilim ang pagmumukha ng magkapatid nang makita nila ako. I can explain why Raven would do it but in Mavvy's case, I'm clueless. Why would he look at me like I'm a savage criminal? We were fine last night!

"Here, Dolly. This is good. Try this,"Yohan offered me tita's beautifully prepared adobo chicken sandwich.

"No. Sorry Yohan, 'my girlfriend' can't have that. She's allergic to chicken,"Raven interjected. "What about I'll cook you your favorite for lunch, moe?"he asked, smiling at me so attractively. Hindi ko nga maalis ang titig ko sa napakaperpektong mukha niya.

"Yeah? You will? Su-sure,"I replied, stammering because of the overwhelming feeling. "Beef-steak is perfect for lunch."

"Nope. You had that straight for two days, Blair,"singit ni Mavvy na nagpasingkit ng mata ni Raven. Kung nakakapatay lang talaga ang tingin, baka bumaha na ng dugo rito sa dining. "You should start eating healthier foods. I've read in a magazine that it's best for pregnant women to have more consumption of vegetables, especially the green leafy ones. Fruits are good too. Yohan and I will do the grocery later so I will sure buy you a lot of them."

Napalunok ako sa sinabi niya. Gosh, nag-aaway ba sila? Si tita, hindi na niya nasubo ang pagkain na kanina pa sa tinidor niya dahil palipat-lipat ang tingin niya sa dalawa niyang anak. Yohan, on the other hand, never gets distracted when it comes to food, especially tita's sandwiches.

"Well, I am so sure that pregnant women should have higher consumption of meat as it's a great source of protein-"Raven explained but was cut off immediately.

"I won't argue with that. But as I have pointed earlier, Blair had her favorite beef steak for straight two days or three. You know that that doesn't sound good--"

"Wait. Wait. You both stop this argument,"tita finally interrupted. "I'm impressed though especially you, Thirdy. How did you know all that?" Mavvy just 'tsked' his mom and smirked at his brother. "Well, points have been made and Raven, your brother's right. But you can still help in the kitchen for lunch,"she continued, making Raven curl his fist into ball. Magkatabi kami kaya kita ko 'yon. "How do you like veggies to be cooked, honey?"she asked me.

"I don't mind, tita. Kumakain naman po ako ng kahit ano e."

"Gano'n naman pala, Raven,"hirit ulit ni Yohan. "Here, dolly. Try tita's adobo chicken sandwich..."

Natawa ako kasi ang bilis ng pagkasabi niya no'n, parang nagra-rap. This time however, Mavvy swatted away Yohan's hand and even took the sandwich from him and put it straight to his mouth.

"Dude, I don't want to share it with you. It's for dolly!"Yohan complained like a kid.

"Kapag ako napikon sa'yo, ipapalaman kita sa sandwich,"pananakot niyang nagpatahimik sa kaibigan niya.

The heated-up contest between the brothers did not end up there because they just won't stop even until that day ended. It was something I found so funny that I cannot react in a different way. However, it rose up an alarm in me when it continued on the following days.

"Frappie, let's go out and watch movie,"yaya ni Mavvy habang nasa sala ako kasama si Yohan at Raven. The guys were watching NBA while I was scrolling randomly on instagram.
