I blinked. "Well, nice to meet you I guess."

Moon patted me on he shoulder and strolled pass me, towards Lillie.

"And how about yo-" Moon paused, gazing at Lillie's face for a second before squealing and tackling Lillie into a hug.

"LILLIE!!!! YOU'RE BACK!!!" Moon squeezed Lillie so tightly that Lillie's spine might have snapped. Lillie glances at me with a confused look on her face.

Finally, Moon let go of her, before immediately transitioning into a flurry of questions. "How was Kanto? Did you catch any Pokémon? Is your mom ok? And... when did you get a Z-Ring?" Moon stared at the white bracelet on Lillie's wrist. Again, Lillie looked at me for help.

"Hey Moon."

Moon spun on her heel. "Yup?"

"You're aware of how Ultra wormholes can send people to different dimensions, right?"

Moon tilted her head. "I mean, there's Ultraspace, obviously, and there's the Reverse World at the altar, but I haven't heard of anything past that."

I shrugged. "Well, we-" I gestured to Lillie and myself. "-are from another dimension."

Moon stared at me. "I find that a bit hard to believe."

"Well you don't just have to take my word for it." I rummaged through my bag and pulled out the sun flute and Zygarde cube. Moon zipped over to inspect them.

"They look real enough..." Moon still seemed skeptical.

"Do you have Nebby on you?" I chewed on my lip.

"Yup, how'd you know her name though?" Moon pulled out a dusk ball and tossed it to the ground.

"Because-" I paused. While I was expecting a familiar white lion to surges out of Moon's dusk ball, instead, a giant purple bat flew out.

The Pokémon stretch before looking expectantly at Moon, who pet its head and stood on her tip toes to nuzzle it. "Hey Nebby."

Moon looked at me. "What's the matter? Bat got your tongue?"

"Um, I guess you could say that. Anyways, he- she could tell if we're telling the truth, right?" I cocked and eyebrow.

Moon looked back at Nebby. "Well, are they?"

The Lunala floated over to me, looking me over, before glancing back at moon and nodding.

"Huh, you really are telling the truth. How 'bout Lillie?"

Nebby floated over to Lillie, who carried the same result.

Moon shook her head. "Well, this is quite intriguing."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Could Nebby possibly give us a ride back home?" I narrowed my eyes.

Moon scoffed. "Now, now, hold your horses. Nebby isn't the best at traversing alternate dimensions. No offense, girl."

Lunala floated over and nuzzled Moon.

"Well my Nebby is. Could I just use a PC-"

Moon cut me off. "Yeah, that's not gonna happen either. The storage system is down for reasons we're trying to figure out. Until it's back up, nobody will be accessing any Pokémon at all."

My shoulders slumped. "So basically, we're stuck in this dimension until the storage system is fixed. Great."

Lillie cleared her throat, catching our attention. "Also, how do you even know if you could get Nebby out of the PC?"

I snickered. "Oh right, you've never been to the Reverse World. The storage system converts Pokémon into the same energy they are when they're in a Pokeball. And this energy can move on a plane higher than three dimension, blah blah blah sciency stuff. Basically, the storage system works no matter what dimension you're in."

Lillie blanked. "Well that's awfully convenient."

"It's not convenient if you can't access it." Moon said.

Lillie sighed. "Good point."

Moon yawned. "Anyways, how bout we hop over to Akala Island and crash at the motel on route 8?"

Lillie and I glanced at each other. "Not sure how well we'll sleep, it's like, afternoon in our dimension," I said

"Then you won't sleep. Whoopty doo. I don't care, just let me sleep." Moon emphasized by rubbing her eyes.

"Fine."

We strolled along Route 8, heading towards the motel. Lillie's fingers were interlaced with mine, and she periodically squeezed my hand slightly.

Finally, we approached the motel. "Ok, how about I give you two love birds your own room?"

"I can pay for our room, if you want." I shrugged.

"Nah, nah, I got it," Moon insisted.

"Thanks."

After Moon payed for our rooms, Lillie and I head into ours.

I glanced at Lillie to find her blushing. I smirked. "What's with the red face?"

She blushed even more and hid her face behind her hand. "She called us 'love birds.'"

"And? It's not like she's wrong."

Lillie groaned, lowering her hand to reveal her adorable, blushing face. I embraced her, and she buried her face into my shoulder in embarrassment.

I snickered as I adjusted to be face to face with her, my arms still around her. She pressed her lips to mine, letting out a sigh of satisfaction.

As our lips shifted against each other, my hand slid up to the back of her head. Lillie twirled a lock of my hair with her finger.

We separated just for a second, as we had backed into the bed. Lillie playfully pushed me down onto the bed before climbing on top of me and brushing her lips on mine again. Her body pressed up against mine.

After a few moments of pure bliss, Lillie rolled off me. I tugged my hat off my head, lazily tossing it over to the counter that held the TV.

I turned to face Lillie, who promptly snuggled into me. I wrapped my arms around her, and she did the same to me.

We laid there for a few moments before I broke the silence, looking down at her. "I love you Lillie," I said with a smile.

Lillie looked up at me, a slight pink tint to her cheeks, beaming. "I love you more."

"That's not possible..." And with that, much to my surprise, I drifted off to sleep.

Why do I always release these at an ungodly hour?

It's 1am. I'm wide awake.

Bah, whatever.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

On another note, with this chapter will probably come the 1000 read milestone, meaning the next chapter will probably be the 1000 read special. Suggest ideas for that!

Anyways, happy Thanksgiving, don't get yourselves sick.

Peace.
