I walked out of her room and to the kitchen where she found the others. Megan was baking some cookies, Kaldur was reading some book, Super Boy sat in a chair, and last but not least Robin and Wally were chatting.

As I made my way over to Kaldur I could hear small bits of Robin and Wally's conversation.

"-crazy, right?"

"-insane. I can't-,"

"I wish-,"

"No, that's-,"

"I know-,"

"-but, you know-,"

I ignored them and continued walking to Kaldur.

"So, what are you reading," I asked him.

"An Atlantian book about a great warrior," he said.

"Real or fictional?" I asked.

"She is real," he answered.

"Who is this hero?" I asked him.

"You have probably never heard of her, but her name is Persephone Jackson. She is the bravest, most loyal person I have ever heard of," he answered.

I tried to hide my blush as he complimented me, although he didn't know he was.

"No, I haven't" I lied. "But, what about this 'warrior' is the book about,"

"It is about her adventures, the books about the Second Giant War have yet to be published, so I have to wait," he said.

"Uhhh, cool," I said and walked away.

Well, that was weird, I thought.

I was going to and do something when Batman walked into the room.

"It's time for your mission," he said.

Megan turned off the oven, Kaldur put his book down, Robin and Wally stood up and made their way to the rest. We walked over to some form of platform, where a lump of something red lay. Megan walked forward and stretched her arm outward and the red lump formed into some type of air transport. Air transport, why did it have to be air transport. Why couldn't we ride the waves instead?

"Uhh, do we have to use the plane-thing?" I asked.

"It's a Martian Bio-Ship. Why don't you want to fly over the sky?" Megan asked.

"Are you afraid of heights?" Kaldur asked.

"Kinda. More like of a fear flying," I said.

"Well, I'm sorry. We don't have any other type of transportation," Megan said.

I took a deep breath.

"It's only fear, right? Only in the mind," I said.

"The mind is one of the most powerful parts of the body," Megan said.

"Not helping," I said. "But, whatever. Let's just get on the bio-ship,"

-

When we finally landed I ran out of the plane. I took a deep breath to relax. I turned around to see the team behind me.

"Okay, how should we approach this guy," Wally asked.

"I don't know, Mr. Mustard Bottle, I don't know," I said.

The team laughed, at least the most of us did.

"You can't tell me you don't have a nickname of your own," Wally said.

"I do, but it's not like I'm going to tell it to you. All those who have called me that name aren't alive," I said glaring at him, trying to fool him into the wrong meaning.

I mean, my friends who had called me my nicknames weren't alive, but it wasn't like I had killed them. Wally's face morphed into one of terror. Yes, he fell for it.

"Y-y-ou. T-there no-not aro-arou-around anymore?" Wally asked stuttering in terror.

I burst out laughing at his response.

"You should have seen your face, priceless!" I exclaimed.

"Riptide, what did you mean they're not alive," Robin asked.

"There dead, but I didn't kill them. I would never. No matter how it sounded or looked like just now," I said dead serious.

"Oh, I'm sorry," Megan said, pity evident in her voice.

"I don't want pity, I'm starting to get over it," I said.

"Is their death the reason you became a hero?" Kaldur asked.

"No, I was a hero before that," I said.

"How did they die," Superboy asked.

"Can we talk about this later?" I asked.

"Of course," Robin asked.

Then we heard a rustling sound. I saw a small goat tail sticking out a bush.

"Don't worry, I'll go look at it," I said and smirked.

I walked towards the bush and when I was close enough, I dove into the bush.

Third Person PoV

The team was surprised when Riptide dove into the bush.

"Uhhh..." Wally trailed off. "Did she just..."

"Jump into a bush, yeah," Robin said.

Then they heard a yelp from the bush, Well it did kinda sound like a goat bleating, but it was a yelp nonetheless.

"Pe-Riptide!" A male voice called out.

Then Riptide stepped out of the bush with- were those goat legs!!?

She carried someone over her shoulder. All the team could see there the goat legs hanging over her shoulder.

"Are you sure it's him? 'Cause the picture didn't include goat legs," Wally said.

"I'm sure it's him. He's wearing the same shirt, similar jeans and of course his reed pipes were visible.

She set him down if the ground his face looking up to the sky.

"Is he unconscious?" Robin asked.

"Yes, found him that way," Riptide said.

The boy had curly brown hair, and a small beard, both identical to those of the guy on the picture they'd been shown.

"Who do you think knocked him unconscious?" Megan asked.

"Doesn't have to be a who," Superboy said.

"Well, let's just make our way back to the mountain," Riptide said.

-

When they arrived back at the mountain they found Batman waiting for them.

"As the league is busy, you will be interrogating him," he said and swiftly left.

"Uh, I thought-" Wally begun to say

"Let's just get him to the interrogation room," Superboy said.

"We have one of those?" Wally asked.

"This is the Justice League's old base, what did you think?" Riptide said.

Then they carried the unconscious half-goat to the interrogation room.
