I Thought It Was Over (Fem!Percy x YJ)

Chapter Twelve

I don't own anything, not the characters and barely the plot.

I lay on my bed in the room I had at the mountain. I stared at the ceiling and was utterly bored. I'd heard that our next mission wasn't until Saturday, and tomorrow was school. I also had to stay at the mountain this Saturday for that mission which meant I had to wait until Sunday to meet Roy. It was 11:05 and I just decided to go to sleep, at least then I won't be completely bored. I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. When I walked back into my room I changed into my pajamas and turned off the lights. I then crawled into my bed and fell asleep

Percys alarm woke her up at six a.m and she got out of her bed. She changed into a deep blue t-shirt with navy blue jeans. Percy also put on a pair of blue sneakers as well. Then she walked to the kitchen to find Megan making breakfast.

"Hey Megan," she said.

"Hello, Percy! Aren't you excited for school!" Megan said, being as cheerful as ever.

"No, if there's one thing I hate, it's school," Percy replied.

"Why?"

"Because all you do is- never mind."

Then Superboy came and they all ate breakfast and Percy took care of the dishes. Megan wondered off somewhere and so did Superboy.

As Percy, Martian Manhunter, Kaldur, Red Tornado, and Megan walked through one of the doors to Superboy who was working in his bike.

"Ready for school?" Megan asked as she flew. "I made our lunches."

She showed him the three brown paper bags she held in her hand.

"The first day of the scholastic season carries great cultural resonance. We want to wish you both well," Martian Manhunter said.

"Guess it's not a Kryptonian thing," Superboy said as he stood up.

"You may wish to change before you depart," Kaldur said.

"Ah, I spent hours choosing this outfit," Megan said as she shapeshifted her clothes into a white shirt, a pink coat and a pink skirt. "What do you think?"

She turned to Kaldur and asked him, "Can Megan M'orzz pass as an Earth girl now?"

"Well..." Kaldur trialed off.

"Just kidding! Meet Megan Morse," she said as she spun around an turned her green skin white, or more peachy.

She did a small curtsy towards Kaldur and the others before turning to Superboy and asking, "What's your new name?"

"My what?" Superboy asked in confusion.

"I chose the name John Jones for myself and suggested John Smith for Red Tornado. You could be a John too," Martian Manhunter said as he shapeshifted into a human with dark skin and a suit.

"Pass."

"Connor's always been my favorite name," Megan said.

It bit at Percy's heart just to hear that name.

Superboy just shrugged.

"A last name will also be required," Kaldur said.

"Perhaps, Kent," Martin Manhunter suggested.

"Oh, in memory of Dr. Fate. The late Kent Nelson," Megan said.
