Chapter Thirty-One

I don't own anything, not the characters and barely the plot.

So, I've got a question for you guys. I feel like I want Kaldur to be together with someone. Who do you think I should put him together with? Honestly, right now I feel like they could be cute together. I know that Rachel can't date due to Oracle stuff, but let's just forget that for the sake of the story.

"So, this one time Artemis wanted me to try archery because I'd told her how bad I was at it and she wanted to see it with her own eyes. In the ends I shot Kid Flash in the leg," Percy said.

Rachel laughed softly. "That does sound like you."

"Do you want to meet them? The team?" I asked.

"Yeah, that would be fun," Rachel answered.

"Then follow me," I said and we walked back to the ballroom.

We made our way through the huge crowd. The team was spread all over the place, so we watch bigger parts of the place and such. The first one on the team I spotted was Artemis. I walked slightly faster and Rachel did the same.

Once we reached Artemis I stopped.

"Artemis, I want you to meet a good friend of mine. Rachel, this is Artemis. Artemis, this is Rachel Elizabeth Dare," Percy said.

"Nice to meet you," Rachel said.

"You too. You're Mr. Dare's daughter?" Artemis said.

"That I am. I don't particularly like what my dad does though," Rachel said.

"I don't either. I mean, I don't like what my father does, I have nothing against your father or something," Artemis said. "How long have you two known each other?"

"Since... I think we were 14 or something," Rachel said. "How long have you known Percy?"

"Uh, a few months," Artemis responded. Then she walked closer to Percy and whispered in her ear, "Does she know about the hero stuff?"

"Yeah, I've told her about the team," Percy whispered back. "Can you alert the team that she knows and that I'm introducing her to the rest of the team?"

"Sure," Artemis whispered.

"Rachel, come on! Let's meet the others," Percy said.

"I hope to see you again, Artemis," Rachel said before they left.

The next teammate she spotted was Robin. He was easy to spot after all, with his sunglasses and all.

"Robin, this is Rachel, a friend of mine. Rachel, meet Robin. Robin, meet Rachel Elizabeth Dare," Percy said.

"Nice to meet you," Rachel said.

"You too," Robin replied.

The next teammate that Rachel met was Kaldur.

"Kaldur, this is Rachel, Rachel Elizabeth Dare. Rachel, this is Kaldur'ahm," Percy introduced.

Kaldurs eyes widened in recognition. "It is a true pleasure to meet you, Ms. Dare. I've heard many great things about you."

Rachel blushed a little. "It's a pleasure meeting you too, Kaldur'ahm."

"Please, call me Kaldur," Kaldur said.

"Okay, and call me Rachel," Rachel said.

"Of course, Rachel," Kaldur said. (You see what I mean?!)

"Time for the next person, Rachel," Percy said.

"Okay," Rachel said.

The next teammate was Megan.

"Megan, hi! I want you to meet my friend Rachel. Rachel, this is Megan Morse, Megan this is Rachel Elizabeth Dare," Percy said.

"Hello, Megan! You're Mr. Dare's daughter, right?" Megan asked.

"Yeah, I am," Rachel said.

"Well, it's really nice to meet you," Megan said, enthusiastic as ever.

"You too," Rachel said.

"Next person!" Percy said, before they made their way into the crowd once again.

The next teammate she spotted was now other than Wally West.

"Wally, hi, I want you to meet a friend of mine. Rachel, this is Wally West, Wally this is Rachel Elizabeth Dare," Percy said.

"Wait, your initials are RED?" Wally asked.

"And you fight crime in a mustard bottle costume?" Rachel retorted. "And yes, my initials are RED."

"Oooh, burn," Percy said.

After that Rachel met Connor.

"Hello, Connor. Rachel, this is Connor Kent, Connor this is Rachel Elizabeth Dare," Percy introduced.

"Hi," Connor said, grunting too.

They shook hands and Percy and Rachel were on their way again.

"Roy, how're you doing? Rachel, this is Roy Harper, my boyfriend-" Percy started.

"So, you did get a love life. The campers were starting to think you never would," Rachel teased.

"Roy, this is Rachel Elizabeth Dare," Percy finished.

"Nice to meet you, Roy," Rachel said.

"You too, Rachel," Roy said.

"Well, Rachel. What do you want to do now?" Percy asked.

"I don't know, what about you?" Rachel asked as they walked away.

"Just chat, maybe?" Percy suggested.

"Sure," Rachel said as they headed to Rachel's room once again.

"How is it? Being on a team again?" Rachel asked when they sat on her bed again.

"It's good, they helped me get over their deaths," Percy said. "It really feels good the be on a team again, to know that someone's got your back."

"It must be. After today, please... don't forget to visit, okay?" Rachel said.

"Of course," Percy replied. "After all, we do have a lot to catch up on."

"Oh, yeah we do," Rachel said.

"Plus, there's no way that I'd abandon my favorite artistic Oracle," Percy said. "We can even plan pranks for Wally!"

"That is so you, Percy," Rachel said.

"Yeah, Yeah," Percy replied. "Remember when you threw that blue hairbrush at Kronos?"

"Oh, I will never forget. He was so confused!" Rachel said.

"Wish you had time to pull that stunt on Gaea," Percy said.

"Can you imagine the look on her face!" Rachel said. "Or if I threw it at Octavian."

"Yeah, by the way... he's like a villain now," Percy said.

Rachel raised an eyebrow. "He wasn't before."

Percy laughed. "Not like that, I mean, superhero villain."

"Oh, kinda sounds like him," Rachel said. "But now I do have an excuse to throw my blue hairbrush at him!"
